I tried this brand on a whim. My rabbit mostly eats timothy hay but I like to vary his diet and wanted some nice, fresh (for dry) orchard grass. Soon as I put some down for him, he gobbled it all up! Would definitely order again. I like that they sell in smaller portions so we can try it out and it's packed tightly for easy storage.

We always bought Oxbow until we tried these mini bales. Extremely high quality hay (green and fresh like it was baled yesterday), but it’s really the mini bale that have us hooked. Almost no mess or dust, so easy to serve to our buns. Plus he has amazing videos of his farm and process so there’s 100% confidence you know where your hay is coming from and you’ll support a small farm. I rarely write reviews but we were so impressed. Only buying Hall’s mini bales from now on.

Long strands of grass. No dust.

Looks perfect. A complete zip-lock package of long strands of grass blades. No dust. No particulate. No fill. Virtually no odor at all. Best looking hay I have seen

Looks perfect. A complete zip-lock package of long strands of grass blades. No dust. No particulate. No fill. Virtually no odor at all. Best looking hay I have seen all year. Definitely recommend trying it if you have allergies, since it is odorless and dust free. Unfortunately, it has no smell to entice my bunnies to sniff it, taste it or eat it. They have no interest in eating it at all. However, I would give it a try because it is the best looking grass/hay I have seen all year. Perfect as the parent!

Halls is the best!

I’ve tried so many different brands of hay and Halls is by far the best value and quality. Almost no dust and it stretches so far! Smells fresh and I’ve never found

Too much fine dust particles

Great hay. But, please stop cutting the hay so small. Leave it first cut. There's too many fine dust particles, which is not good for a guinea pigs' airway.
