Gut Stability

Has provided gut stability for our 12 yr old cocker spaniel when nothing else worked. No more diarrhea. She feels much better and has certainly has more energy.

My Havanese loves this food!

After being on the Hill's z/d (chicken) canned food for over a year, Dante's skin allergies and itchiness never subsided. Our vet recommended a strict salmon diet to eliminate all poultry and hopefully bring some moisture back into the skin from the vitamins and minerals from the salmon. My dog eats this food in 3 seconds - he loves it even more than the chicken! Always asks for more. I'm so happy I was able to find a canned salmon version from Hill's since he loved the Hill's chicken z/d so much. The food is out of stock right now - hoping it comes back soon, since he only has about 8 cans left.

No longer the same

I have been feeding my Yorkies this diet for 5 years and have had no problems until now. I am convinced the formula has changed, however Hill’s has assured me that it has not. The consistency has changed to a sticky paste (peanut butter like), which my pets struggle with eating due to sticking to the roof of their mouths and hair on their face. But more importantly, it has caused both of them to no longer be house broken! They continue to have accidents in the house and even defecate in their crates. Have even been to the Vet for lab work and X-rays, with negative results! The only change from the norm is the dog food!!!!!

What happened to the consistency?

We used this formula for months and suddenly it’s turned into a sticky paste. It’s impossible to even get off the spoon. My dog can’t eat this, she can’t even get it out of the bowl. We need to switch now

Great product, but service issue

My dog was discharged from hospital with 3 samples of this food and doctor orders for more. I ordered it from Chewy next morning and got their request for the order which I sent. Received acknowledgment they received the order. However, I didn't get any notice of shipping the next day. I called and spoke to a nice young man who checked on it and said the doctor order had not been entered into the system. He said he entered it into the system and said it should SHIP in 5-7 days. I had to drive 45 minutes away to purchase more food the next day...then got notice my order had shipped. Don't rely on quick service or accurate shipping estimates for emergency supplies right now. I was frustrated most that the doctor order I sent wasn't processed right away. First time I have experienced a glitch with Chewy.

Hills Rx Diet Food

I have used the Hills Rx Dog Food for almost 2 years. My dog, small Maltipoo, has a digestive disorder that causes high liver enzymes. She likes the Hills dry and wet dog foods. Chewy has been great helping me with getting the foods she will eat!!!!!
