This food works!

Our Jack was on DM for years, but he still continued having loose stools. His vet prescribed fiber supplements and a low dose steroid pill, dried salmon (Just One brand) as a nightly treat, but still the diarrhea continued. I did a little research and asked the vet if we could try Jack on the i/d pate. Within a couple of days, he finally had a firm stool! We tapered him off of the steroids and supplements because this food continues to work. Best, Jack enjoys the taste.

Rx Cat food Gold

The cat food was good and the cat really liked it. My only complaint is that the cost is more expensive than other prescription cat food. I would like to see Hills lower the price so that you don’t have to take out a loan to pay for your cats food

Great Cat Foods

My beautiful Flower crossed over the rainbow bridge last Saturday. The foods I recently purchased for him from Chewy may be great for my next kitty. I will definitely be getting another kitty in the very near future. I just want to thank you all for your great service and also some really nice cards, which put a smile on my face. Thank you and take care. Barb (and Flower RIP)

Not consistent quality

Cat loved it and then the last box was bad. Seems he smells something on it and won’t eat it. Anything else he eats normally.

Horrible food, cats won't touch it

Overpriced garbage. Cats will not touch it at all. One just sniffs it briefly, other tasted it and immediately ran off (no joke). Even tried mixing it in with their old food but no go. Now, the dry food variant, they can't get enough of so I am not sure why such the big difference. I have tried multiple cans but same results. Add insult to injury, this food is SO overpriced it's beyond ridiculous. You're essentially paying for the name alone. Same goes for their dry food but at least they'll eat that. Still pending results on whether it's benefiting them any but I'll review the dry food separately. Top 5 ingredients (first listed): -Water -Pork Liver -Chicken -Rice -Potato Protein There are about 50 other ingredients past that, most seem to be vitamins.

Really helps

This new diet for my almost 10 year old male cat has really helped with his digestive issues. He is not throwing up his food and seems to be really happy at meal time. He was also dehydrated so I started adding some water to the wet food and that has helped as well.

First ingredient is pork liver not chicken

This is not the same as the 2.9 can and should not be considered as an option if your vet recommended the chicken and stew. The 5.5 can has pork liver as the first ingredient and should not be listed as an option by chewy. However, they have been doing this and be aware that the 5.5 can of i/d and the 2.9 can of i/d are NOT the same item. My cat will not eat the one with the pork liver first (the 5.5 can). Be Aware of what you are ordering for your fur baby if they have digestive issues.
