My cat loves it.

I was already using Hills K/D Chicken stew, and Wally liked it ok. Then he started getting allergies and scratching all the time, so I thought I’d switch to the Tuna stew to see if it was his food. (I don’t think it is), But now, he really likes the Tuna stew better, because it is less chunky than the chicken and he doesn’t leave big bits in the bowl. I’m really happy that he likes it. He’s 20, with kidney disease and I want him to like his food for as long as possible.

Finally, a food she will eat!

I’ve tried other brands, and even this one to get my 15 year old female to eat. All she preferred was a name brand regular pate food so I gave her that because I wanted her to eat. A few weeks ago, she wasn’t interested in that food either and I was worried she wasn’t eating enough. I bought another KD from the vet and she turned up her nose at it. I ordered this ( again) and she eats 90% of it when she’s fed. I also made a change to the feeding schedule ( I have 4 cats) due to my work schedule. I feed in the morning ,when I get home from work and just before bedtime. She eats 90% of this food every time. She wouldn’t eat any of the other brand name food. I also feed a little more in the morning so they can have ‘ left overs’ during the day. She is much happier now that she’s eating

good choice for picky eater

Kidney disease can be a challenge. Kitties appetites continually vary. I had a variety of 4 different renal wet food products and Lil' Girl got so she only liked one. After about a year she decided she wanted variety again. As long as she continues to eat, I'm a "Happy" cat Dad

Too fast, autoship!

Great response but difficult to scale back the autoship frequency. When my cat doesn't consume as much canned food, won't touch the dry stuff and is needing a slower pace of re-supply...it's hard to lengthen the time between orders being shipped. Make that easier and I'd be happier.

WOW! My cat LOVES this.

We all know cats can be finicky. And when it’s something for their health, they usually hate it. But my cat loves this hills diet food for her kidney issues. And I didn’t even have to follow their recommendations of mixing at 1/4 and then 1/2 and then 3/4. She ate it right off the bat. She will even eat the dry stuff if I it. I would recommend.

Not my cat's favorite but part of his kidney diet

My cat most definitely does not prefer this can cat food but it's part of his CKD diet. I found that sprinkling some florifauna on it helps tremendously and I generally will add a spoonful of another type of wet cat food and mix it all up. An appetite stimulant such as Elura helps tremendously

Cat said no thank you.

I used to feed my cat the urinary version of this, and was hoping that he would like the kidney care version. Alas, he says "no thank you" every time, even when covered in crushed up treats.

Actually has a pleasant smell.

This stuff doesn't offend the nose like most can cat foods do. Zuki is going through adjustment from a self feeder but he does seem to like the food really well.

Not liked by the sick cat nor the healthy cat

I ordered this for my cat who was diagnosed with CKD. He was not a fan of this food. Neither was his companion who is healthy. I tried mixing it with their normal food, and they both walked away from it. Wish I'd been able to buy per can instead of a whole case. prescription food should be available ala carte since sick animals - especially cats - are finicky eaters.
