How many cups in a bag? Thank you
Answer by ChewyJun 23, 2018
There are approximately 34 cups of food in the 8.5 pound bag and 110 cups of food in the 27.5 pound bag.

Is the size of the kibble about the same size as a plain m & m or larger?
Answer by ChewyJan 22, 2018
The size of the kibble will be slightly larger than an M & M. It will be closer to the size of a chickpea.

Can you freeze the hard dog food ? I have a corgi and she doesn’t eat that much
Answer by ChewyJul 02, 2021
We do not recommend freezing your pet's foods. Freezing dry food may attract moisture, resulting in mold. Freezing canned pet food dramatically changes the texture of products and may adversely affect palatability.

Has anyone had a better experience with the canned vs the dry? My dog hates canned food but some people feel it gives better results?
Answer by ChewyJan 25, 2018
Both the canned and dry recipes are formulated to benefit your pet in the same way, but maintaining optimum levels of hydration is extremely important, especially for urinary health. If your dog doesn't like canned food and doesn't drink enough water, adding some water to the dry food may be a good middle-ground.

hills prescription c/d

Great! My husky is very picky about her food. Thee are times when she won't eat fo 2 days. As soon as I put the food in her bowl, she goes straight to it. She loves it! Her fur is softer and she seems to have more control of peeing. Thank you. She might be 9yrs old but acts a lot younger.

Happy doggy

I was so afraid my doggy wouldn't eat this new prescription dog food. Miraculously she runs to eat it every time like it's chicken or steak. I don't know what the food is doing inside her body but she loves it superficially.. more than her old food - Orijen.

formula change

This original formula was amazing for my dog. The new change immediately gave her sever allergies- Probably thanks to the new add of whole grain corn. Not happy with this as it is so difficult to find a diet low in purines and now they’ve added allergen inducing ingredients. Too expensive of a food to trial

Not the same food

If you plan on getting this product do not switch up the size the 27.5lb bag is not the same as the 8.5lb i originally bought the 27.5lb and my Dalmatian loved it but he was running low on food and they did not have the 27.5lb bag in stock so i got the smaller version in the mean time but its was not the same food the color and size of the food was not the same me not thinking much of it reading it was all the same just different looking went ahead and fed it to milow now the change in food has his stomach messed up he is now constipated and has very soft stool so i recommended sticking with the same size bag so avoid this problem

Kibble size and flavor change

I use Hills instead of Royal because of the large size. I can’t use these tinny bits as treats and my Pomm gobbles it down in one inhale. Ugh.
