Hill's Science Oral Care / Size
By LogansMom4evr on Feb 17, 2021
My dog LOVES this food, but it doesn't keep him from inhaling his dinner so I use the food as treats in his treat toy & it used to work great. The size big enough to keep him busy, taking a while to get the kibble out. Lately, it seems the kibble is smaller & usually just falls out of his toy almost immediately. Very unhappy about this. I'll try the Hill's TD next, sounds like that kibble's larger. I compared the size of our kibble to another customer's photo. Ours is smaller.

Dog loves it!
By TommysMom on Jan 28, 2021
My dog loves this food more than his regular kibble and probably even more than much of the wet food I give him. It must be very palatable. He's over 60 lb so I just give it to him as a treat, and not for his entire meal, as he would have to get too much of it. Also, he gets foods that are formulated for sensitive dogs, so for that reason, I'm not so sure this food would work as his only food. Having said that, I wish the food would come out in a non chicken formula, or with more limited ingredients for sensitive dogs. If allergy/sensitivity are not a concern, I'm sure it would be just fine for full-time feeding.

picky dog approved!
By SuzeL on Jan 15, 2021
I brush my dog's teeth weekly but I needed some additional help to get rid of his bad breath. This helped! It's also doggy approved. He thinks they are treats! Instead of other treats, I just give him these. He gobbles them up. The size is just big enough for him to chew on it to help the tartar. Any smaller and he might just swallow it. My dog is 60lbs with a big head and mouth! Not sure on the claims of the tartar control until our next vet appointment. I also think the dog food smells better than most other dry kibble. I'll keep buying just for the good breath and they are "healthier treats."

My dog thinks I'm feeding her treats.
By Linda on Feb 26, 2021
My seven year old cockapoo started to have dental issues. I switched to this food for her. She takes each big crunchy ball and runs with it to spot where she eats her treats (on my living room rug, but oh well, I love her).

Huge Kibble
By Allison on Dec 29, 2020
This was just what I was looking for - a giant kibble from a reputable brand. My dog inhales his food but does not have any upset stomach problems. Instead, his teeth are suffering since nothing is scraping them (other than brushing). We've tried several brands and none have been large enough to force chewing. Somehow, he still manages to inhale this HUGE kibble without chewing. He's a 70 lb lab/pitt mix. I hope your dog will chew it, he likes the flavor!

Good treats for giant dog
By Nicholas on Jan 4, 2021
We use these as treats and subtract the calories from his kibble. It's worth the time to figure out the equivalent. We keep a container of them on the kitchen counter and the whole family uses them. No more weight gain from too many treats! Our Newfoundland loves them. He chews them and I have seen improvement in this teeth after a few months.

Not for our senior pup
By Candace on Jan 3, 2021
When we first started mixing it with her old food we noticed a difference in her breath within the first week but by time she was moved to the food 100% she started getting major skin issues and her breath went right back. We had to take her off and donate the leftover. She really liked it but her body did not.

Read the reviews
By Nirvas on Jan 14, 2021
Wish I had paid attention and read the reviews. I just opened the bag to find the huge kibble. My dog seems to like it but she's only 12lbs so I'm afraid she'll choke on it. I'm gonna play it safe and give this to someone who has a larger dog.

I almost threw up!
By Cloek on Dec 3, 2020
This dog food may be good for teeth, but with my elderly dogs with bad teeth they could not chew it for how hard and big the pieces are. When I opened the bag I almost threw up because of the smell. The food stunk so bad I couldn't breathe out of my nose. If you need a food for teeth I wouldn't choose this one, because it smells so bad. And I know dog food can have a smell, but this is the worst food that I have ever smelled!

Huge bites
By Selene on Jan 9, 2021
You’d think with the size of this kibble the dog would be forced to chew. Nope. My 50lb lab inhales without chewing (even from a slow feeder bowl). Huge bites also means huge poops. Like double the size of the kibble and still holding shape.
