My dogs love this wet food, and they enjoy when I mix it with their food or freeze it on a mat. Seems very high quality.
Decent alternative to raw diet
Our dog, Bailey, isn't your typical "iron stomach" lab that I was accustomed to growing up. She not only has terrible allergies (chicken and beef), but also has an EXTREMELY sensitive stomach overall when it comes to dry food and most grains. Seriously, this girl will get severe/acute hemorrhagic gastroenteritis at the slightest slip in her diet (or if she gets into something outside). The only dry dog food she can somewhat handle is H&G's dry lamb and turkey formulas, but even with those she would still get loose stools in the afternoons and a case of straight-up diarrhea every week or too. At our wits end, we decided to try putting her on a raw diet. That definitely solved the diarrhea problem, but then seemed to be constipating her...it is also very expensive and time consuming to safely prepare. So we decided to put her on a 50/50 mix of canned and dry H&G. So far, so good...but still extremely expensive (even more than raw). So far, so good...but time and cost will determine whether we stick with H&G long term.

We use H&G as a topper for our two collies, they seem to like all that we have tried, but they REALLY like the gamebird in particular. Chewy has a great selection and service, so convenient!
