Is this any different than the cat food (other than some ingredients are moved around)? I ask because this is a much better deal than the cat food but I love H&G

Was really hopeful about this because I like the ingredients and the consistency seemed like it would be good for lick mats, but it's so soft and spreadable that it contributed to some really loose stools. The biggest problem, though, is that it smells/looks the same going in.... Just can't get past that. Rating it in the middle because I think these are problems specific to us, but I'm sure it's good quality and works for others.

My English bulldog is a picky eater and allergic to many, many foods. This food addresses both of our concerns. To owners that can’t figure out allergies: get an over-the-counter prescription test. I can’t stress it enough. The results will shock you. In addition to being allergic to most of the common meat proteins in the world, my pup is also allergic to rosemary and carrot. And both of these ingredients are frequently seen in foods. Somehow my pup is not allergic to beef, turkey and duck, so this works perfectly for us. But please understand that this may not work for you if your pup is allergic to turkey or any other ingredient that’s in the can. Get a test to know for sure, but for us it’s a 5-star product!

We switched from TikiCat, because the particular kind she liked was very soupy, and she was too excited to eat it without choking lol. The ingredients in this food are awesome, and it’s easy to put her morning pill in. 10/10 recommend!
