Every dog plays differently and, since not all toys are created equal, it’s always best to keep a close watch on your pup in case things get ruff. Supervised play will help toys last longer and most importantly keep your pal safe. No dog toy is truly indestructible, so always remove the toy from playtime if pieces begin to break off.

I am on my second "Cuz"! The first one was used by my older brother who is no longer with me and I took it over. It was my bestest toy but it was at least 10 years old and the squeaky quite working. Mom read the revues and almost didn't order another one because they said it was flimsy. Well, they must have changed because it's as sturdy as the former one. Boy o boy I love this toy.
We've gone through a handful of these over the years as they've been a favorite with multiple of our dogs. Neither of our older ones squeak any longer, so I got 2 new ones for my pups for Christmas. In under 10 minutes, my destructive 65lb malamute/husky dislodged the squeaker in one. The other one still squeaks (for now), but these are definitely not as durable as they used to be. My 72lb dog is better at playing with toys and less intent on destroying them (unless it's plush) and this was ok for him. If your dog isn't a hard core toy annihilator, this will work.
My 1 yr old rat terrier mix had feet and ears removed within the 1st 30 minutes of having this toy. Have to say it was cute!! Other reviewers warned not to get this toy and that it wouldn't hold up. Should of listen
Will not buy again. My puppies had the feet chewed off in less than 3 minutes and then they started on the ear nubs. Was very disappointed.
My 94 lb dog loves to play with this toy! She picks it up and drops it and loves to watch it bounce. She entertains herself all by herself. Oh and it does squeak! It takes a lot to make it squeak, but it does.
He fell apart within 30 minutes of allowing my dog to play with it causing him to be sick for the next three days.
I had high hopes for this ball/toy but within minutes my 7 month old Goldendoodle had the feet almost completely chewed off. To try and salvage the toy, I took it away for a couple days and tried again. I cut the feet off, leaving just the ball and horns. He then chewed the horns off immediately and would probably have the ball torn open by the end of the day if I let him.
Another company gone bad. These balls used to be great. My aggressive chewing Lab who is now 10 had 2 of these. The ball quickly became her favorite, can't be without toy. They each wore out after about 5 years. I finally bought a 3rd and 4th and they are have changed the material and are now a flimsy rubber. If the balls last a month, I'd be amazed.. Sad what corporate greed will do to a company.
This size is not recommended for super chewers....my 100lb husky mix demolished these is less than 10 minutes....the squeaker stayed in, but the ball itself just fell apart....The larger ones last forever as they are very hard to squeak.
The squeaker was out of this in a matter of minutes and the feet were torn off. Would be a good toy, but not for “super chewers”
