My standard Goldendoodle loves this ball in size large. I also purchased a size medium, but it is not nearly as popular. It has been durable. He has played with it for 2 years & still squeaked. This summer I left it out in the backyard rather than carry in & out for play. It laid in the hot sun & eventually developed a crack in it so when squeezed, the air leaked at the crack instead of the squeaker. This has been a very beloved ball for my dog so I’ve replaced it.
My dog is obsessed! I’m not sure where I got the first one, but took it outside and the obsession began. I made the mistake of leaving her with it unsupervised, and she chewed the squeaker out of it. She loves it so much and I was thrilled to find it on sale on Chewy. I ordered three, and now I save them for fetch only. I throw one and when she brings that back I throw a different one. This saves me from having to trick her into giving it back to me. It is plenty sturdy for her chewing and squeaking it while bringing it back, just not for laying down and chewing on it.
