Feed guinea pigs 1/4 - 1/2 cup daily. Use the feeding recommendation as a starting point for 1 pet. Adjust the portions to maintain proper weight and for feeding additional pets. For best results, discard any uneaten portion and clean food dish before next feeding. Fresh water should be available at all times.
When introducing a new food, begin with a mixture of old and new food, gradually increasing the amount of new food over a 7 - 10 day period. This will prevent digestive upset as well as allow your pet to adjust to the new food.

Maggots and bugs
By Yuck on Oct 17, 2020
I bought this bag over a month ago because I have 2 guinea pigs and their always eating. I kept noticing chunks of food sticking together and didn’t know why. Today I went to clean the cage and give them fresh food and I noticed a bug flying around in the bag and maggots. I took the rest of the bag outside, poured it into a strainer to shake the food off and poured it into an ice cream bucket. I left the remainder of the food outside since it’s cold so I’m hoping whatever bugs are left in there they will just die. I’ve been ordering from here for almost a year and have never had any issues with the products, but this by far is the worst product I’ve ever bought. DO NOT BUY!!!
By Shelly on Nov 1, 2020
Guinea pigs aren't supposed to eat seeds, as they are choking hazards and bad for guinea pigs sensitive digestive system. The multicolored pieces are made from fruit which are high in sugar, and can lead to obesity. Fruits should only be fed once a week at most, and in small quantities. It can also lead to a picky piggy, the might eat the colored pieces and chunks of stuff and leave the healthy pellets. Please feel free to do some more research, and DO NOT BUY FOR YOUR PIGGIES!

DO NOT BUY THIS FOR GUINEA PIGS
By CiCi on Nov 4, 2020
Guinea pigs can NOT eat seeds or corn! This food contains ingredients that can KILL guinea pigs. PLEASE do not purchase this if you care about the life of your animals! I would recommend Oxbow products instead, they are safe and healthy!

Great food
By Kesia on Dec 5, 2020
Our guinea pig only enjoys the dried fruit, but eventually goes back for pellets. In fairness she gets a lot of fresh snacks also.

By Squeak on Oct 27, 2020
She eats only the pellets and leaves everything else, the dried vegetables etc are wasted, but the dog eats them when she kicks them out. Lol. Sharing?

Approved by a picky eater
By Gwen on Oct 2, 2020
I have tried numerous brands and varieties for my Guinea pig. She would pick at it and dump the bowl over. With this food she eats everything in her bowl. No more waste. Finally

By svrmbaby on Aug 30, 2020
Was skeptical about buying cause the reviews are terrible but I have not had any issues with this food at all. My guineas love this food and I love the larger sized bags, really good food overall!

Mostly Pellets
By Crystal on Jul 8, 2020
My guinea pigs will only eat the “other stuff” in this mix and none of the pellets. Sadly, the bag is mostly pellets. I end up dumping all of the pellets in the trash so I’d say 80% of the bag went into the trash. They aren’t picky eaters so I’m not sure what’s off about this mix but they don’t care for it.

This is a nice variety. I do have a rather picky Guinea Pig so he will tolerate it but prefers fresh vegetables.
