Description

Feed your Rabbit an all-natural blend of hay that is low in calcium and protein with Kaytee Timothy Complete Alfalfa Free Fiber Diet Rabbit Food. Rabbits need hay to aid in the digestion process, keep their teeth trim and satisfy their need to chew. In fact, hay should make up 75 percent of their daily diet. And while rabbits love alfalfa hay, it contains higher levels of calcium and protein which can lead to urinary tract issues and obesity in adult rabbits. Kaytee Timothy Complete Alfalfa Free Fiber Diet Rabbit Food is made with fiber-rich, sun-cured timothy hay and other ingredients plus vitamins and minerals. The long strand hay satisfies your pet's need to chew and helps keep their teeth clean and healthy. Feed with your pet's regular hay, pellets and fresh produce.

it’s good but not that good

By Cristian on Sep 25, 2021

It’s okay for starting rabbits but not good for adult rabbits. They need for nutrition and fiber in their diet and this doesn’t have that much of it.

    kibble for my bunny

By birdowner on Apr 30, 2021

This timothy hay pellets is what I use as treats for my bunny, 1/4 cup a day limit. I use to buy from local petstore but they stopped selling the larger bag and only carry the small one. Thank you Chewy for stocking the larger bag. One thing though...keep the bag tightly closed to keep bugs from getting into it...if you suspect bugs, put it in the freezer overnight to zap them.

    Daisy loves this food!

By SaraKate on May 14, 2021

I am highly allergic to Timothy hay so I have to feed her a different type of loose hay, but I know how good it is for buns so I was happy to find this food. The pellets don’t trigger my allergies and she is so excited to get her pellets in the morning!

    overall good timothy pellets

By Ripley on Mar 3, 2021

I've bought this many times and they are overall good, although my very last bag may have had a minor quality control issues. I found a piece of blue plastic pellet and a red one. Hopfully it was just a one time thing, but it does make me wonder if these are being made with non-edible materials. For now I will trust the Katee brand as it is made in America and my bunny seems to like it.

I was looking for a good Timothy based food for my bunny and this is perfect. It will last me over a month because she can’t have more than a quarter cup. She loves it.

    Never any waste

By macruryonline on Jan 9, 2021

My bunnies would pick through other types of feed and only eat the grains they liked. This feed in pellet form has everything they need. There is never any waste. I also give them fresh greens once a day and hay to graze on at their leasure.

Best pellet feed I have found

By Flopsy on Nov 7, 2020

The Kaytee Timothy Complete Rabbit Food is the best pellet feed I have found. So much healthier than other pellet feeds. It is made from Timothy Hay. Timothy Hay should be the main staple in a rabbits diet. Our rabbit Flopsy loves the Kaytee Timothy Complete Rabbit Food. I give him a large handful for lunch. He gets hay twice a day, which lasts him all day. Plus a little fresh produce.
