How long are the individual pins?

The overall Length of the brush is 9.5 inches. The Brush Head measures 5 inches in Length and 3 inches in Width, the Pin base measures 4.125 inches in Length and 2.5 inches in Width, the Pins at the top measures 4.75 inches in Length and 3.125 inches in Width, the handle measures 4.25 inches in Length, the Grip measures 3.0 inches in Length and 1 inch in Diameter.
How are the pins and or the pad holding the pins held to the handle

The metal pins are stainless steel. They are reinforced by being attached to more stainless steel on the underside of the brush.

Great brush

Always looking for quality grooming tools to use on my long haired Yorkshire terrier. I bought this brush in size small based on the really good reviews. I already have a couple of pin brushes, including a Chris Christensen. However, I really like this brush. The handle makes it easy to use and the pins glide through my dog’s hair without damaging his coat. This brush is well worth the cost.

Not Bougie, Definitely Worth It

When the new brush arrived to be added to the four I already have and few I've disposed of, I was concerned that maybe my bouginess had taken over when I decided to buy it. It looked nice and sturdy, but I wasn't sure how that would translate in use. I was absolutely wrong, it is amazing. Normally I can get a few swipes in while my touch sensitive dog is eating treats. With this brush, he barely notices that I'm brushing him and he is not receiving treats. It is gentle and does a great job lifting dead hairs. Definitely great quality and helpful!

worth every penny

This is far beyond those cheaper brushes. The pins are long with a blunt rounded tip that went through my standard poodles curly hair without getting caught... I always test my brushes on myself just to confirm comfort, and now I am wondering why there aren't human brushes like this. (I also have long curly hair)
