I’m so happy I got this item for my cat Buddy. He’s always sitting on the windowsills watching the birds and squirrels but now he can really spread out and he enjoys that but he now has the space to take a cat nap and feel the sunshine or watch the rain. He doesn’t use it as a scratch pad but that’s just fine with me.... The suction cups stick like glue and can easily be removed or folded up and out of the way when we have a very cold and wet night. I plan to get 2 more. Worth every cent

We have a different window seat for our kitten and decide to give this one a try as well. It has lasted 3 months with no issues so far and is used frequently. We have it on a window that faces out into the back yard.
Great cat seat for smaller windows
on Jan 14, 2021
I've already bought and returned a cat window seat or two before realizing I just have narrower than usual windows. The smaller width of this one makes for a bit of a snug fit for my bigger kitty but he manages to wedge himself in between the support wires just fine. The seat is sturdy and I love the ability to switch out the cardboard base for a new one once it's been fully used/scratched.
My cat loves this!

I ordered this perch for my cat because my windowsills are low and she wants to see the birds. It is sturdy and large. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because I had trouble getting it to sit level. Maybe that was just me. Lol
Rosita runs from the other side of the room, and jumps onto the perch from a chair. She’s a petite kitty, but plays pretty rough. It has held up very well. I definitely recommend this product.
Just what we needed.

Our cat was growing too big to fit on the windowsill but he loved to look out that window, so we got this for him. It's not the most aesthetic perch but it is much more solid than you would expect of a contraption mounted with suction cups.
The "stow-away" configuration doesn't work at all; there's nothing keeping the perch up when you push it against the window.
Great place for watching the world go by!

The kitties really enjoy sitting here to see what’s going on outside. The only thing I’d say is that because it’s a scratch pad as well it’s not as cozy as they’d like - but add the catnip and they’re happy!
The best 'cat accessory' I've ever purchased

First, this is the most commented upon piece of 'decor' in our condo. Bar nothing. Cat owners are fascinated.
Second, in my experience with 7 of these, it will stay in place for MONTHS IF you take the time to hang it appropriately...with ONE caveat: temperature changes (think direct sun heating a cold window) seem to cause rare problems for the suction cups that 'screw' into place. I've learned that it helps to soak the cups in warm water before hanging to make them more supple. Also, using a high-quality product to clean the window & the cup before hanging is imperative. I have this sill (and similar ones from K&H) that have hung for 6+ months -- with 10-12lb cats using it daily. ThinkFirst, this is the most commented upon piece of 'decor' in our condo. Bar nothing. I have this sill (and similar ones from K&H) that have hung for 6+ months -- with 10-12lb cats using it daily. Think cats running and jumping 4 or 5 feet to land on the shelf. And I've had only 1 'failure' across all the shelves in more than 18 months = ONE of the upper cups coming unstuck after an aggressive leap.
Finally, we have 3 cats, ranging in age from 4 to 10. We live in a downtown condo with more windows that wall-space. I started with this product + the similar K&H hanging cloth perch. Each is *transformative* -- I now have 7 scattered throughout the condo due to the popularity and quality. The cats sit, sleep, hang out, play, name it, on these shelves. Every day. In one spot, I have 2 hung side-by-side to create an 8ft perch.
This model (corrugated cardboard) functionally is smaller than it appears -- the hanging 'plastic wires' intrude on the space for a cat to jump onto the sill. The 'soft' version is more popular with the gang, but the 'scratching' version is still a must. Were I to recommend, I'd say 2 per cat, one of each type. Bottom line...if you don't have one of these, your cat(s) are missing out.… more
My Kittens LOVE This!
on Sep 11, 2020
I have two 5 month old kittens and they love being up on high surfaces. We have a tall cat tree upstairs that they play on but our downstairs area is small and we don’t have room to fit another cat tree, so when I came across this window mount kitty sill, I knew it would be perfect! It was fairly easy to put up; I cleaned the window and suction cups with rubbing alcohol first to make sure they would adhere properly. I had to put each kitten up on it and have yet to see them jump up by themselves. But so far, they’re very happy to be able to look down on us [humans] and watch the birds outside!
I underestimated how much I would enjoy the window mount...

I knew my kitten would like this, but just like the headline says, I completely underestimated the joy the ~I~ would feel seeing my kitten up in the window. He loves the window perch and I do, too. Our windows are a little on the narrower side, but we were still able to mount the perch in the middle. We can also crack the windows at the top for air, so it's great to still be able to use the windows with the perch mounted. It's fallen one time, but only because I hadn't stuck the suction cup on the pane well enough. Luckily no kitty was hurt.
Our Misty loves it!

We recently took in a stray that has been hanging around the house. We bought her this because she loves the sunshine and she absolutely loves it!! And so do we. It was super easy to install and it looks great, too.
