Bebes house
By Micky on Jan 7, 2021
We were going to be traveling over the holidays and our cat loves to come and go as she pleases. She prefers to be outside at night but in the winter all our lives, including hers, gets upset due to night cat activity. Our daughter watched the house and we wanted a way for her to be warm and protected if she stayed out all night. She absolutely loves this thing. In typical cat fashion they usually love or hate something and she LOVES it. She actually gets mad if we put our hand in it while she is in there. It is perfect for one cat. We leave one flap on and one off. Was worried I was going to be wasting my money but it is hands down the best thing I have ever bought her! We keep it on our patio table so she has a better view and is a bit safer in evenings from critter visitors. … more

Very warm, cat never leaves
By kelly on Feb 19, 2021
My indoor cat is obsessed with this bed and spends nearly every waking moment in it. We have it propped up on a table next to a window and she absolutely loves it. I love that the door flaps are removable - she didn't need them since it is indoors. It's very sturdy, easy to set up, and stays REALLY warm! But not too hot or anything, I touch the pad occasionally and it just feels body temp.

My stray kittie is now safe and warm.
By Earl on Feb 15, 2021
I am so happy with this house. A stray cat comes here to eat and we have snow and sub zero weather now. I got the house and he wasn't happy about the plastic front flap so I took it off. He lives in it now. He can look out and next to his house I have a plug in heated bowl. Remember they need water too. I sleep better knowing he is warm.

Warmth for a stray cat
By Frau on Jan 19, 2021
We had a stray, or perhaps feral, cat--very skinny, coming out from under our deck around dusk. We've been feeding him/her and providing a heated water dish on the house side, but still under the deck, with an eye to taming him/her enough to take to our vet for neutering. In the meantime, it's a Pennsylvania winter, so I bought this house. We *think* it's being used, but, even if not yet, it makes me feel better that it's out there. Hoping s/he will seek its warmth.

Kitty can stay warm
By Ebony on Feb 15, 2021
I feel good that my feral cat can get out of the rain and stay warm. It took her a few days to go inside. I put treats in it to entice her. She finally figured it out and spends cold nights in the her little house. I don't have any shelter for her so this seems to be a good solution.

Took a while, but kitty likes!
By Clare on Dec 27, 2020
At first we thought this house would be a dud -- we plugged it in and kitty wouldn't stay inside, even with treats, reminded him too much of his carrier. Plus, the pad itself didn't seem that warm. However! We put black construction paper over the back entrance, so he wouldn't feel "exposed" from behind, and it worked! Kitty went right in. Stayed there for maybe 4 hours on and off that day. Plus, looks like when he lays on the pad he absorbs the warmth, so heat level is good. May need to try a few different things to get different kitties to buy in, but so far, Simon likes his house!

We all Love this!
By Sophia on Dec 7, 2020
Bought this during Black Friday because the price was nice and I thought my kitties would love it. Sure enough I was right! I plugged it in to see if it worked well. At first I was a little apprehensive because it didn’t seem to be reaching the 102°F the box said it was supposed to reach but I let the real critics test it out- both of my cats love them! It gets warmer then they are in there and I assume To reserve energy and preserve the product, it cools off when they are out of it. My one kitty, Elinor(black DSH pictured) gets the most use out of it. I have a sunroom that isn’t heated so it can get kind of cold. They like going out there and spending the day and despite the fact that they have Bought this during Black Friday because the price was nice and I thought my kitties would love it. Great Product!
By MammieA on Jan 3, 2021
We have a stray cat who adopted us. We can’t bring her inside, our big dogs aren’t cat friendly, however we wanted a way to keep her warm and sheltered. This heated house is just the trick. We placed it on our large front porch, which is where she sleeps anyway. We put it out when there were a few warm days, so we left the top off to get her used to it. When it turned chilly then cold, we added the top and plugged it in. She LOVES it! She stays nice and toasty warm even on the coldest nights!

Fantastic House for Outdoor Kitties
By BonBon1957 on Dec 13, 2020
This is the third K& H outdoor heated pet house I have purchased. The other two are still in use after several years. This one has an even better nicer feeling heated cushion. Beds DO NOT get real hot as some people don' t seem to understand. It's designed to warm the cats underside and that keeps the whole kitty warm. These beds are great for a sheltered area outside. I have one on my deck that does not have a roof over it but has an overhang and it is nestled against the house. I have a stray cat that comes by each day for breakfast and dinner and she uses it to stay warm and comfy till it's time to eat. I keep mine plugged in all the time during the winter. House is easy to clean by just wiping it down. I do have the one on the porch tied down to a bench because in a strong wind it could blow away. These houses are light weight. I do have to tie the flaps back because like others have said cats will not come inside with that plastic flap hanging there. Sort of defeats the whole purpose of a flap to keep out the cold but cats have their preferences. I highly recommend these houses. … more

Other K&H House Better
By Jackpot on Jan 23, 2021
Former stray Moma Cat enjoys her larger K&H house. However, our Pepper Grace will not get inside this one, and Jackpot (the little one) will finally get in this house now that it is very cold on the porch. The opening is too small.
