Too easy to take off
By ChrisM on Jan 18, 2021
My 60lb. boxer had surgery on her rear back leg and I thought I would try this. Pros- the fabric cover is very soft, it was easy to inflate, and it was extremely easy to put on and take off. It prevented her from reaching her leg too. I really like that the Velcro is long enough to adjust as needed. Cons- when I put it on her as shown in the picture she immediately went to push it off and her paw became stuck in the area where it connects. So I had to turn it upside down. She quickly figured out how to push the whole thing off with her paws. We started opting to only use this when we were home but otherwise it had to be the doctor cone. A Must For Us
By ClumberMom on Jan 17, 2021
Our Clumber Spaniel has a low body with a fpumd head. The poor girl couldn't take more than a few steps without the old school plastic cone ramming the ground and stabbing her neck. She was so aggravated by it that she would lie down for hours and just not move much. That lasted for about half a day and we quickly decided we weren't having it! After a ton of research that day, I decided to go with this item. It arrived the next day and the instant we replaced the horrible plastic cone with this, our girl perked right up!! She was ecstatic and so were we! She slept well with it on too, even seeming to think it was a pillow. It served its purpose well and she healed nicely from surgery.

Cloud collar comfort exceeds purpose
By Midwestraised on Jan 19, 2021
Cloud collar comfortably kept my pooch's head from reaching his back leg. He even let me put it on when needed without it annoying him. He could lay down or eat and drink. Am very happy with it. I told my vet that I used it, and the vet even said it was fine, instead of a cone. It will remain part of our pet medicine kit. The air seal is strong, and does not leak, yet I can release the air when I want to. Bought the large for our 55 lb. BC mix. Thank you!

Think twice
By Lynne on Jan 3, 2021
I got this because it seemed it would allow our cat better peripheral vision. Our cat took the xs size in Kong's other, funnel shaped collar - DO NOT assume you can use the same size - this xs is way smaller than the other xs! Also, they don't show you the giant plastic inflation valve that sticks off one side, making it impossible to position the collar so that the animal is not being jabbed by the valve. May not matter for a larger size, but on the tiny one your pet WILL be poked by that valve. I guess the only use for this style is learning that the funnel style isn't really all that bad in comparison.

Much better than cone
By Leonard on Dec 29, 2020
When I was searching for recovery collars and saw how good the ratings were for this collar I didn't hesitate to get it for our dog although it didn't work when we put it on him. We couldn't get it to inflate all that much and it was pretty mushy where our dog could easily turn and lick. Now, it could be the fact that he is a siberian husky and has a very long snout, but at this point, we don't know for sure. We bought a medium - maybe should have gotten a larger size. So, we had to use the cone that we purchased from the vet. Our dog hates the cone and for the first day just stood still and didn't move when we put it on him. So we adivse that if you do get this collar maybe size up if When I was searching for recovery collars and saw how good the ratings were for this collar I didn't hesitate to get it for our dog although it didn't work when we put it on him. Needs improvement
By Glory on Jan 13, 2021
Well, my dog was attacked by a dog while we walked. She had surgery on both of her sides. Skyy is a lab and it was so difficult using the typical cone. I ordered this collar and it arrived quickly. One problem was that when she tried to lick her sides she couldn’t, but this collar rubbed one of the surgical sites. When she started healing we tried to use the collar again. After about 5 days the collar would no longer hold air. It is at the curb in the garbage can right now.

This is a God send
By HawaiiGirlInFlorida on Dec 20, 2020
My 9 year old pit bull had Atropia surgery on his eye and came home with a huge e collar. It was cumbersome and he couldn’t eat or drink on his own. My boss recommended I look on line for something better. This is it! I ran his collar through the attached loops after blowing it up. It’s like an airplane neck pillow. My dog can run, eat, drink, and sleep more comfortably. This is amazing! It’s a little big for him , but he’s short and stocky with a big neck. But definitely order up if In doubt. This is just so much more comfortable for my dog.

Material used is well made
By Doggie on Jan 22, 2021
I bought x-large size for my two golden retrievers. Their weight is 75 lbs. Almost too big. I used these for after neutering surgery. The dogs were still able to reach their surgery sites and had to be supervised. They are cumbersome as well, and the dogs can reach the plugs to let the air out. A cone might have worked better.

Great product
By Kat1981 on Jan 14, 2021
I bought two these as I got a dog spayed and one neutered. These kept the dogs from getting to their stitches. It kinda worked as a pillow for them when they were laying down. They could still eat and drink easily with it on. I think this product is great! I recommend this over the other style cones any day. Truly great!

Good Purchase
By Cass on Dec 20, 2020
This is my first time owning a dog that isn’t a “family dog” so I have all the responsibility. My goldendoodle just got neutered. He put up with his cone from the vet but he likes this cone A LOT more. Great visibility, ears can be out, seems more comfortable, doesn’t scratch when he bumps into things. Blowing it up was a little tricky because I couldn’t consistently pinch it the correct way. Only took a few minutes to get fully inflated tho! Would definitely recommend (but remember every dog is different). One downside, he doesn’t seem super comfortable sleeping in it, but otherwise it’s been great for him (ordered a large for my goldendoodle)
