Questions & Answers

Can the bundle of string be unraveled, or is it stitched together in the center?

Answer by ChewyJul 17, 2021
This toy is stitched through the middle so that it cannot unravel.

My cat likes to pull and eat any piece of carpet that maybe stuck out and gets sick to the stomach, if I don't go around on occasion and snip loose carpet string. Will this cause my cat to get sick if it is eaten?

Answer by ChewySep 17, 2021
This toy is not designed for consumption. Supervise your pet when using since small parts can present a choking hazard or internal blockage. Discontinue use if the toy is damaged.

Hi. Where is this toy made?

Answer by ChewySep 17, 2021
KONG plush toys are made in China.

Can the catnip be removed?

Answer by ChewyJul 03, 2024
The catnip is sewn into the toy.

We received this toy for Roz and Daphne. The toy actually has three pieces to it. One it has the pink yarn, looking toy. Two there is a about one inch by 4 inch toy that goes around the yarn. The third toy is a little mouse that’s mixed into the yarn underneath the band that goes around the yarn. Roz and Daphne are extremely active Bombay kittens. They loved the peace that held the yarn together, it crinkles as they play with it, and they like the sound. also love the mouse that was with the yarn looking toy. As far as the yarn part, they don’t want to have anything to do with it. When I saw it, I thought they would love it and they did love the two parts. But the yarn not much.

Danger: Pull-A-Partz and EAT!

Well, seemed like a toy they’d enjoy. I supervised their play for a few days and then felt safe enough to allow them unfettered access, but somebody decided to chew

Well, seemed like a toy they’d enjoy. I supervised their play for a few days and then felt safe enough to allow them unfettered access, but somebody decided to chew off some of the yarn and eat it. Was on poop watch for 3 days making sure we didn’t have an obstruction!! Skip this one unless you know for sure your fur kids won’t try to eat this.

I didn’t think they cared for it that much, but it seems a tried and true toy. It gets moved around the house when I’m at work, left in the kitties favorite places. Before I go to work I wrap it up again, Velcro-Ing the little wrapper around the squiggles. When I come home, they’re separate, usually in a different room, and the squiggles often make it to the bed. My cats are 14. Had it for about 9 mo and they still move it every day. They even play with it when I’m home, I will find it in a different room, maybe they bat it around before they eat. Nice that there’s a toy they like so much they will play it on their own.

The boys loves playing with rope but I'm always afraid they'll swallow it. This is a great toy since it's all sewed together. Unfortunately I still need to keep an eye on it since it the thread holding it together tears apart easily and it becomes something they can swallow.

It has the cutest & tiniest lil mouse & you would think this lil mouse is a real mouse as these 2 go absolutely nuts over the lil thing. Gator loves the sting concept

This is my 3rd or 4th purchase of this same toy for my kitties. When I say they love it I really mean they love it. They are obsessed with pulling it apart and the mouse on the inside, let's just say that I have purchased it time and time again because the mouse just gets disgusting with all their carrying it around and chewing on it! It's definitely an A+ toy.

Fuzzy Coating Separates From Inner String

This toy comes in various colors, and I received a different color variation than the toy pictured. Mentioning to avoid confusion since I'm including a picture

This toy comes in various colors, and I received a different color variation than the toy pictured. Mentioning to avoid confusion since I'm including a picture. Upon Arrival, the cats enjoyed playing with this toy. They were able to release the Velcro sleeve and get the plush yarn center out to play with it. After a bit, I noticed the fuzzy coating was coming loose from the white inner string. I didn't want them to eat the fuzz, so I took the fuzzy part of the toy away. They're still playing with the outer fabric wrap. I'll add a picture to help explain.
