Serve 10-12 Nutri-Berries at a time and continue to keep a fresh supply of food and water available at all times.
Serving tip: Most birds with accept Nutri-Berries right away; however, if your bird does not initially eat the Nutri-Berries, crumble them and mix with current diet until accepted. Nutri-Berries, when fed as the main source of nutrition, should be as 80% of the total diet with the other 20% being fresh fruits, veggies and nutritional treats.
Crumble berries into bird's regular diet, and offer whole pieces as well. Reduce the amount of previous diet while increasing berries. Weigh bird daily on a gram scale (kitchen scale). If weight loss of more than 10%, resume previous diet and begin again.

Always trying to introduce new food to my cockatoo. During the summer months she gets grapes, cherries that she loves, but then I am bothered with fruit flies. I started giving her just one of these a day starting last week, and she is now up to three a day. She is definitely enjoying these with the fruit already in there, and nasty fruit flies are gone. I don't know if I could put her on a diet strictly of these, which it recommends on the package, but I will give her as many as she can handle, as long as I don't see them uneaten on the bottom of her cage.
I buy these regularly as treats when my parrots are on their tree stands. The last box I received was infested with moths and worms. Chewy is of course replacing it at no charge but the shipment is taking almost a week to get here versus 1-3 days as promised. Hopefully it's not infested.
My melo and Bella loves it.. I think it's the sweet
When received I noticed a pin hole on the front of the bag, feed it to the wild birds because I wasn't going to subject my Parrot to eating it.
My parrot loves theses. I use them as a treat. I would buy them again.
I took my parrot off seed and nuts to a pellet diet. I add these to give him an extra treat and he loves these. It has helped him to except the pellet diet as well. He is 30 years old.
Lightning fast shipping on a great product! Will buy again.
My Grey likes these balls vs traditional pellets, and it's nice that they come in different flavors. However the last few bags have had an increasing amount of broken up balls in the bottom of the bag with a lump of stuck together ones in the middle. You go to try and use the lumped ones and they fall apart in your hands. Almost 1/4 of this last bag will have to get tossed, and that's a lot of waste for an expensive food item. I'm not sure if they are coming this way from the manufacturer, or if it's how they are handled during packing and shipping?
My birds have been eating Lafeber products for years.
My double yellow headed parrot won't eat these... even if I break them in half.
