Is this food suitable for Parrotlets?
Answer by ChewyJul 10, 2020
The Garden Veggie Nutri-Berries will be fine for a parrotlet. It would need to be crumbled, and it is likely the parrotlet would not be able to eat some pieces, such as the dried peas. Nutritionally, this is a suitable food to give a parrotlet.

Are these suitable for Greek Cheek Conures? My bird loves avicakes and I am hoping maybe I can get her to eat more veggies with these.

Great addition to bird diet

I give these as snacks and additional variety to my birds diet. He loves them and usually eats them before eating his fresh veggies and fruit. 35+ year old african grey approves.

My cockatiel hates veggies but she LOVES these!

I’ve been giving these Veggie Nutriberries to my 11 year old cockatiel for a couple years now and she absolutely loves them! She won’t take fresh fruits or veggies whatsoever so this is a great way to sneak in some of those vitamins for her. Would definitely recommend to those that have birds with very picky appetites.

Tasty and healthy

My African Grey enjoys eating these Garden Veggie Nutriberries. They have dried carrots, peas, and broccoli in them. She refuses fresh broccoli and carrots, but eats them in the Nutriberries. I'm thrilled because she should eat vegetables. My compliments to Lafeber for creating this product.

Disappointing purchase

I love chewy. Don’t get me wrong. This item was sent with expiration date of 9/22. A normal expiration on bird items is year minimum. Obviously Lafeber is not sending good expiration dates, or chewy is holding on to these items too long. I will call chewy to discuss as I won’t feed my parrot food this close to expiration. I did not open bag..but the item was rock hard meaning been laying way too long.
