Stainless steel Litter Genie litter box

I was looking for a new litter box to replace an old plastic one that had a lot of scratches & retained a smell even after cleaning. I find most commercial boxes

I was looking for a new litter box to replace an old plastic one that had a lot of scratches & retained a smell even after cleaning. I find most commercial boxes are too small even for average size cats so I wanted a large box. This litter Genie stainless steel box is great! It’s a good size & should be easy to keep clean since it’s stainless steel. I set it up next to the old box so my cat would get used to it, but she got in the new box 5 minutes after I set it up. So far this box seems great! My only criticism is that there is a raised section in the middle of the base that is a bit inconvenient when scooping, but overall we’re very happy with it.

I was excited to try out this new box with my two cat, they took to the box well. However daily scooping was a challenge sometimes frustrating. The bottom of the pan is raised not flush. When it arrived it was dented which wasn't too bad because I was able to push it back into its original shape. Ultimately I had to donate to shelter because the daily struggle wasn't worth it for me.

Weird bottom

The bottom isnt flat and has a bump in the middle. Cats dont like it. And where they go in it it make alot of noise bending the metal for my 17 lb cat. Other than

I’ve only had it for a few weeks so I don’t know how long it’ll stay in good condition but I’ve already decided I’m replacing my other plastic litter boxes with stainless steel ones. I have no scientific knowledge to back this up - it just seems like I’m giving my cats a cleaner box

A really cool, low lying design that Bella instantly took to. Bella happy, me happy! Highly recommended, wish there were some color options but Silver is amazing!
