The 17.5 lb feeder and its height with legs is ~17.75" H and without legs its height is ~15.25" H. The 26 lb feeder, its height with legs is ~20"H and without legs its height is ~17"H.

This is a good feeder. No instructions on how to put together. I called the company and they were helpful. In the end, I had to figure it out myself. This is

This is a good feeder. No instructions on how to put together. I called the company and they were helpful. In the end, I had to figure it out myself. This is how to put together. First put the top and bottom together. It doesn't seem like they'll work, but get one over the little nubs and go around to get the rest. Then, put the legs on. I used a small hammer to get them in. Then the middle piece. You may need a pair of pliers to get them through the holes. I used one to squeeze the parts together. Once you get to the top part, you have to use the pliers again. Once they're through, you need to line them up so they will fit in the slots. Then you're ready for food. After I filled it and put the lid on, I taped the lid on . That way the mice can't knock it off. It's been very stable so far. Chickens and ducks both eat out of it.

Yes, it’s a blue plastic 8.5 lb capacity feeder but that is where the resemblance to the picture stops. The one I received is solid blue. I picked this one so you could see from afar about how much feed was left through the opaque but white plastic. Not the case with the solid blue. The top is conical and has a very small hole to hang the feeder from unlike the picture which has a handle-like top. The legs are substantial and tall which was unexpected but turn out to be a plus since I can’t hang it as I had planned with the different style of top. It’ll work but if you’re picky about the look, don’t buy this one - you’ll get something very different than what is pictured

My only complaint is that it does not dispense food very well. Inside cone could be more steep to facilitate better flow of pellets as food is eaten. I have to shake it every few days to get the food to flow out better.
