My cat go's NUTS for this - the various shapes make it fun for me too, they get pretty big or small, depending on how far you are pointing (near or far) which adds to the fun! It does make me worry about getting it in her eye at times, but she has not been bothered by it and is obsessed at hunting these shapes. The various lighting features and USB charging ability makes it practical and a total win all around! You won't regret it!

It's basically a flashlight

Don't know if it is my particular "rechargeable laser pointer," but all it is is a glorified flashlight. No instructions and tried every which way to select different

Don't know if it is my particular "rechargeable laser pointer," but all it is is a glorified flashlight. No instructions and tried every which way to select different settings to replicate what is advertised (happy face, star, fish, whatever). NOPE. Also, there was no way to recharge it. No USB whatever thingy. I am NOT talking about a cable, folks. Am talking about what is shown in the description/photos. NOPE. Opened this on Christmas day - a gift for my cat. What a disappointment.

I really like this laser pointer because you don't have to hold the button down to keep the laser on. Most other pointers you have to hold the button, and it hurts

I really like this laser pointer because you don't have to hold the button down to keep the laser on. Most other pointers you have to hold the button, and it hurts my thumb. My cats go wild for it and like all of the different patterns it has. Another thing I like about this pointer is that it is long and has a bracelet-kind of loop on it, to wrap around my wrist, so I don't drop it.

I recently got this Luckylala rechargeable laser pointer for my cat, and it’s been a huge hit. Right away, she zeroed in on the laser and chased it all over the room, it definitely gets her moving and playing. The pointer is lightweight and easy to handle, and because it’s rechargeable, there’s no need to keep buying batteries. It’s also great for indoor play: I can use it in different rooms, even tack it on a shelf or ledge for a hands free game, and my cat stays entertained for a long time. I’ve noticed she’s more active since we started using it she seems happier and gets more exercise, which I love. The beam is bright enough that she can see it even in midday with light coming in, and it’s smooth and steady instead of flickering, which keeps her focused. Cleanup and storage are simple too, the pointer is compact and easy to carry. Overall, this is a wonderful interactive toy for cats who love to chase. My cat was getting fat because he's a couch potato and not interested in playing with his toys. But he really likes lasers, he likes to chase the pattern and pounce on it. I like this style because I can keep it on without having to continually hold the switch on. I had to call Chewy as I couldn't find the recharging site. The top comes off and plugs into an adapter, (not included). The laser includes a white flashlight beam, plus blue and red beams.

The laser also has options to switch it between a red dot or a few different picture options. Midnight goes crazy for the mouse light option. Our kids join in as well and chase after it with her.
