One tuff ducky!

This fabric friendly soft duck is a really terrific size and seems to be well made but I won’t be hiding any more food treats within the fabric folds as our dog

This fabric friendly soft duck is a really terrific size and seems to be well made but I won’t be hiding any more food treats within the fabric folds as our dog was only interested in playing with it like a toy!! She sniffed the hidden treats and promptly picked it up, gave it a good shake, and dislodged all the treats everywhere!! She absolutely loves playing with it like a toy though and carries it around the house. She has tried to rip the duck’s head off and thankfully I’ve been there to intervene but sooner or later; she constantly removes the stuffing and squeakers from ALL of her toys. Even after though, she always loves these same toys long term, without the stuffing! I think this very well-made duck has the durability to become a buddy that will go the distance and last her a long time :D

Cute design with the duck snuffle mat - this could be helpful for entertaining your puppy or dog. The size of the snuffle mat is perfect - not too small. Hide treats in the folds, when the mat is on a hard floor surface, there is a little rubber nubby grip on the bottom that keep the mat flat and in place. Our dog was a little overly excited and just wanted to play with this as a toy - now that she has unstuffed the head and it is flat, too, she might realize there’s more to this “toy.” She has brought this up on her couch bed, but we may surprise her by hiding a few morsels in the folds, to keep her wondering. The fabric is sewn together well, (besides the ease of removing the stuffing from the head), the head is still attached and the rest of the mat is unscathed, so I think this should last quite a while since it’s not really a stuffed animal, it’s already flat, and there’s opportunity to surprise the puppy with a hidden treat.

I received this duck snuffle mat hoping it would keep my dogs busy searching for treats, but they wern’t interested in using it that way at all. Instead, they treat it like a stuffies toy — carrying it around, shaking it, and chewing on it. So while it didn’t work for the purpose I bought it for, it’s still getting some use and holding up pretty well as a toy.

This is pretty cool

I have 3 dogs. 1 Coonhound/border collie mix (FM) and 2 St. Bernard/German Shepherd mixes. The 2 females have not managed to tear the little pieces off the male

I have 3 dogs. 1 Coonhound/border collie mix (FM) and 2 St. Bernard/German Shepherd mixes. The 2 females have not managed to tear the little pieces off the male however has tore about 8 pieces off the toy. So if you have a dog that will be gentle I suggest this is a great toy for you to hide some treats/food in. I still give it to the male I just pick up the few pieces and throw them away. He doesn't eat them.

It is a pretty good size for a medium to large dog. It is also durable because I have washed it several times and it still looks great. I strongly recommend and so does my old lady Beyonce.

Great option for fast eaters!

I have a three-year-old chocolate Labrador retriever who loves to eat!! And when she eats, she eats as if she’d never seen food before, every single time! I’ve tried

I have a three-year-old chocolate Labrador retriever who loves to eat!! And when she eats, she eats as if she’d never seen food before, every single time! I’ve tried putting inserts in her bowl, but she would just pull them out. So to slow her down, I would scatter her food all over the floor. This snuffle ducky is a much better option! I put about 2/3 of a cup of food in and amongst the “feathers” and set it down for her on the floor. It definitely not only slows her down, but keeps the food contained rather than being spread all over my floor. When there’s just a little bit of food left, she does start to pull on the feathers a little bit, so at that point since I don’t want her to damage the duck, I pick it up. It’s also a good thing to shake it out to be sure there’s no kibble left in there. Usually maybe one or two pieces might fall out. It does a good job of staying in place for her to search for her food without it sliding all over the floor. Honestly, I was surprised at how well it worked! It’s tough to slow down a hungry Labrador!!
