I’ve tried so many ear care products over the years, and Mal-A-Ket Plus TrizEDTA Flush has become my go to. It’s gentle enough for regular use but strong enough to keep irritation and that stubborn “ear funk” under control. I use it on my dog, who has had recurring ear issues forever, and this is the first flush that actually keeps things calm and clean without any drama. What I love most is how fresh and comfortable her ears seem afterward. There’s no heavy fragrance, no sticky residue, and I don’t get that “he’s about to shake his head for the next ten minutes” moment. Just clean, soothed ears and one happy pup. If your fur baby deals with chronic ear trouble or you just want something reliable for routine care, this one is truly worth it. My only regret is not finding it sooner.

Routine ear maintenance is an essential but often overlooked need when caring for your dog. Mal-A-Ket Plus is a versatile flush that is especially beneficial when used as an ear cleaner. It contains chlorhexidine and ketoconazole, providing a formula that works as an antimicrobial and antifungal. I have three dogs, one prone to yeast infections in her ears, so regular ear cleanings are required to prevent the recurrence of these infections and to clean out wax and dirt. When administering this product to my dogs’ ears (using the guidelines on the bottle) each one tolerated it remarkably well. The product left their ears visibly clean and was not irritating to the skin. Overall, I think this is a very well formulated flush that will help my pups continue to have healthy ears.

We’ve been using Mal-A-Ket Plus TrizEDTA Flush on our dog who’s prone to irritated skin on his paws, and it really seems to help. After applying it twice a day for about a week, the redness went down and he stopped licking at his paw. It’s been a much easier way to get relief for him compared to another trip to the vet for a prescription, however it does not treat as quickly as the prescription strength. So far, very happy with the results and glad to have this on-hand for flare-ups.

I recently took in a neighborhood stray. His ears were a little yucky. So, I decided to try this ear flush on him. It was easy to administer. There was no unpleasant odor. He tolerated it well. So, I’m assuming there is no stinging or uncomfortable feeling during application of the product. It cleaned his ears well. I would recommend this to others. I have a dog that gets occasional yeast flare ups in his ears. I look forward to trying this on him as well.
