Is the date on the rabbit food the made date or expiration date?

It depends on the manufacturer. Manna Pro it's the date of manufacturing. However double check. Because expired rabbit food can contain natural oils that can turn rancid and give bunny a super upset tummy and possibly stasis.

Provide your rabbit with all the Small World Rabbit Feed they will consume each day. For some individuals, the amount of food offered may need to be limited to avoid obesity.
