Has anyone washed one of these beds? I'm interested in knowing how long it took to dry and whether cat hair (short haired cat hair) stuck to the inside.

Typically, wool takes about 12-18 hours to dry completely. If doing a total washing, please hand wash in cold water with wool detergent and air dry. Slight reshaping may be required to maintain good form. It's not recommended to machine wash as it will decrease lifespan of cat cave. When spot cleaning, it's best to use cold water and a soft cloth. When light cleaning, we recommend using a vacuum to remove debris and hair.

The medium size cave can accommodate cats up to 12 pounds and large can accommodate cats up to 20 pounds.

I was nervous about buying a $50 cat cave for my cats, because we know that cats are picky. But these two INSTANTLY took to it. If they're not in it, they're on it. (it squishes down) There is always a cat in/on the Cat Cave. I am considering getting another one because of this! I got the large light grey cave, and it kind of looks like Pusheen? It's a lovely grey color, without giving Millennial Grey cringe. Both of my cats can fit into one cave at the same time (10lbs and 9lbs) but they choose not to. Seems to be only a one at a time thing.

Our little Siamese kitty loves to hide under blankets so I thought maybe she’d enjoy this stylish cat cave. At first she would not use it, but I put a soft baby blanket inside and placed the cave on top of a desk in a quiet part of the house. She jumped in right away. I often find her inside the cozy cave just chilling out.

Plenty of room for him to grow into it and the quality is so nice that I don’t think it’s going to wear out. He destroyed a cheaper cat hut in the past, but this one is holding up beautifully. He looks so comfy cozy curled up inside too! Great product!

I very much like the look and feel of this cat bed. My elderly cat hasn't used it yet though. I am trying to entice him by putting it in his favorite places, and putting treats and catnip inside. That hasn't worked yet so I put a paper bag inside for him to sleep on as he usually likes that. That hasn't worked either but I suspect he will get used to it soon. That said, the product itself is wonderful!

The smaller one is cozy and works great for our 12 pound kitty, and the larger one is great for room to move around inside. Keeps him warm! I keep it on the bed right by my side.
