This solution is safe to use on aquatic turtles. The bacteria water balancer is natural, non-pathogenic and will reduce the organic waste that turtles release.
Does this product disinfect for pseudomonas?

Will this help with high ammonia levels ?

The manufacturers of this product recommend using a water conditioner to remove chlorine, ammonia and chloramines that may be present in the water prior to using this balancer.
Do you use this when you do a water change, or can you put it in the tank with the turtles?

For start up turtle tanks, first use MICROBE-LIFT/Extreme Water Conditioner to remove chlorine, ammonia and chloramines that may be present in the water. For new tanks, add 1 teaspoon (5mL) of MICROBE-LIFT/Bacterial Water Balancer for every 10 gallons (38 L) of tank water once a week for three weeks. Then follow established turtle tanks direction. For established turtle tanks, add 1 teaspoon (5 mL) of MICROBE-LIFT/Bacterial Water Balancer per 10 gallons (38 L) of tank water bi-weekly and after any water changes. You should also add the MICROBE-LIFT/Bacterial Water Balancer after cleaning filters, changing filters or 48 hours after adding medications.
