Does this have to be used with the liner to prevent spillage?

All litter boxes by Modkat are designed to be used without a liner as well; The seamless base and smooth bottom allow for easy clean-up. However, using a liner can make it easier to empty, refill, and clean the litter box if you prefer. Please note that each box comes with a reusable liner included to try out.

Not big enough, even the XL model

This box is nice for the high pee-ers but they are smaller than the XL hooded from Frisco, which is what we have but it leaks when my one guy hits the seams. He

This box is nice for the high pee-ers but they are smaller than the XL hooded from Frisco, which is what we have but it leaks when my one guy hits the seams. He tried this box for a minute but there's not a lot of room to turn or dig; he ended up stepping in his mess and got litter stuck on his paws, so then he was reluctant to use it again. I looked into the XL but it's only 1/2 to 1 inch larger on the dimensions. It's easy to clean which is a plus but my guy is only 12 pounds and this is too small, IMO.

NO LEAKS!!!

This is our fifth litter box in 2 years. Finally, one that works! No leaks, easy to clean, easy to replace litter, no odor! I love that I can take out and clean

excellent quality

We had two, threw out one when we got a robot, then another cat came into the house and we repurchased another Modkat. They fit perfectly side by side in the nook

We had two, threw out one when we got a robot, then another cat came into the house and we repurchased another Modkat. They fit perfectly side by side in the nook in our bathroom. Love the liners. Never smells. Super easy to change the litter.
