NexGard Chews for Dogs, 10.1-24 lbs. are vet-recommended and FDA-approved to kill adult fleas fast before they have a chance to lay eggs. This product is also FDA-approved to help prevent Lyme infections as a direct result of killing black-legged ticks. Each fast-acting chew provides safe and effective protection, killing fleas and ticks for a full month. And the chews are easy to give because dogs love the delicious beef flavor—you may even give them to your dog with or without food! Each NexGard bite-sized monthly dose is gentle enough to give to puppies and dogs as young as 8 weeks, weighing as little as 4 pounds.
Proudly sourced directly from the manufacturer or their approved distributor. Guaranteed genuine and backed by the manufacturer.
So....I used to give my dog Nexgard, and stopped it because she developed seizures.....but then we developed a flea problem!! So I needed to go back to oral flea meds. Well...I think she never liked it much but trying to give it to her the last few months has been a nightmare. It's a huge chewy and she hates chewy treats. I would cut it up and try to hide it in her food, and she would find it and spit it out or not eat it. I tried pilling her with a pill syringe and she refused to swallow and would spit it out MULTIPLE Times. It must really smell and taste disgusting. And it did not help our flea infestation! so...no thanks. Gave her Simparica tonight and she took it right down mixed in her food.
I tried multiple times to cancel autoship before the deadline but the site kept locking me out. I asked for a refund and received a word-salad email about telling the driver to turn around or something about donating to an animal shelter? Not sure how it's ethical to lock me out of canceling and then responding to my request with nonsense.
My 9 month old puppy was having a hard time with fleas. I used so many over the counter stuff for a month and nothing was working. We went to the vet because he was starting to have a skin rash from the flea bites. The vet decided to give me some of these and said she thinks he might need it forever. But he is now flea free and so greatful. No more crying puppy, no more skin hives, and no more fleas.
She thinks her monthly NexGard is a treat and chews them right up no issue so happy we don’t have to hide them. Never a tick or other critter (we in Arkansas horrible tick issues) on her and we on 95 acres. Defiantly recommend. We switched to these after other dogs have gastric issues with a collar product no problems with this product at all.
I cannot believe this went up in price from $62 to $134, and I never got anything stating that the price had changed. My autoship just continued as normal and I got stuck paying this!!
Each time I call Chewy, either to place, or track an order, they immediately find my customer file and take care of business in a friendly, courteous manner. I recommend Chewy to all my petowning friends.
I only received have of my autoship. What happened? Did you charge me the full pirce? No Right Guard in this shipment. Bad business .... no explantion for short shipment. Thank You Bob
I ordered this item and it does seem to work well for my dog, but she's right on the cusp of weight 24-25 pounds, but still see she has some fleas on her. Not sure if getting the next size up in weight would have seen better results for her. But don't know if I should as I know sometimes these medications can have side effects and don't want to get the next size up and she has a reaction to it either. So yeah...kind of on the fence with this one and for the price you pay, would have expected better results.
My dog loves taking his flea meds. It’s easy to give him a dose and he has been free of fleas since we switched to Nexgard after the collars weren’t working. He hasn’t had a reaction so he’s been on it for almost 8 years
I order flea pills for Lucy. We had lived in another state so I changed to our new address on the order. When I received the statement it was addressed to the old address. The customer service handled the problem right away. Thank you Chewy!
