Good for pain

My 6 year old Russian blue cat was prescribed onisor 6mg for3 days after a neuter. This drug I’m guessing takes away the pain as he slept alot after but this is his second time taking this drug- this time it was paired with anesthesia so I’m Not sure if it had a bigger effect on him? The first time around he was tired but not a zombie like this time. This medicine will dehydrate your pet so i started taking a large spoon adding water and then churu (sp?) to give him water bc he was uninterested in water and food on this medicine for 3 days. It also made him a zombie, he’d stare and be unresponsive to us calling him and this is so unlike him. Mind you he just had surgery but it was concerning 0to me ,not our vet. Just be mindful to keep them hydrated. I’ve never been happier to finish a round of medication just so he can eat/drink and get back to being like himself again. Other than that it seems to work. I’ll be reluctant next time he has to take it though.

I have inherited an outside cat that used to be my neighbor's - long story. He is an older boy and had terrible mouth pain. After a trip to the vet, dental cleaning and extractions he is feeling better. He still has some mouth pain from time to time and this holds him over until he is due for his Solensia injection. I crush it up and put it in a Churu and he has no clue! Works every time :)

I can still hear Prince's hind legs pop and crack when he walks. He still walks on his knees. He will not let me touch them, even to trim the nails. His hind legs are swollen, and nails are huge and thick. He does not look or act like he is hurting. However, it is getting colder out, and I can't keep the apartment warm enough to support his issues. Only time will tell if he makes it through this winter.

Didn't see that effective for FIC

My vet suggested this for my cat who just got diagnosed with an inflamed bladder or FIC. Unfortunately, this didnt seem to provide much pain relief for him. I think
