Optixcare Dog & Cat Eye Cleaner, 3.38-oz bottle

I have a pet with chronic crusty eyes. I clean her eyes twice a day like the vet told me, and I usually just use saline on gauze. However, saline doesn't soften the crusty bits super well and leaves the area wet, leaves behind crusty bits, and leads to more prescription eye drops for infections. So naturally, I saw this and remembered OptixCare makes an eye gel that's super good, so this had to be reasonably good. For the price, it's worth a try, in my opinion. I put a few drops of this on gauze and wipe down and away from the eye to remove the crusties and it just makes them come right off. Her eyes look so much better. I don't feel like I have to wipe hard or soak the crusties off with this cleaner at all. With plain saline, I only got some of the crusties off. With this, I get 90-100% of the crusties off without much effort. After discovering this cleaner, I will never be without it. What does the patient think? She likes that it makes her twice a day eye care quick, she doesn't mind the cleaning solution at all, and she'll do anything for a treat. It makes eye cleanings take half the time they used to, which means my critter is happy to comply. I have not used it as purely a rinse because I do not think my critter would forgive being sprayed in the eyeball(s), I let the vet be the bad guy unless it's an immediate need. The only thing is I wish I'd found this sooner!
