Is it dangerous if a rabbit swallows/chews on some?

This bedding is made of pure, never-printed paper that is hygienic and safe. In general, some small animals such as rabbits may chew on the paper, however they should not consume large amounts. If you do find your pet is ingesting this bedding, you should discontinue use and contact your veterinarian.

DUSTY

The bed is very Dusty and made me cough when I put in my mouse cage. I can imagine what it did to my poor mouses nose. Do not recommend

SO DUSTY! Made my bunny very sick

I used this bedding for the first time in October and then again in December. Both times, my rabbit became very, very sick (however I only made the connection after the second use in December) Because of the mass amount of dust in this bedding, his body started creating mucus as a defense. At one point, he had so much fluid in his ears that he could not shake his head without falling over. It was really scary. Thankfully, after removing the bedding completely from his space, and introducing an intense herbal treatment, he has made almost a full recovery. But this should never have happened in the first place. This bedding is NOT SAFE and not suitable for use. I usually love Oxbow but this should be taken off the market before other pets are harmed.

Pressed dust

Absolutely not! I can't believe this "paper bedding" has passed any type of inspection or quality control! This bedding is nothing but pressed dust, as I just cleaned my GP cage, wanted to add it to the cage and I am covered in dust. I had to throw it out, otherwise my poor pigs would be exposed to respiratory troubles. My God, who signed off on this?

This stuff sucks

This stuff has zero oder control what so ever. I can immediately tell when my rabbit uses the bathroom and I clean my rabbits cage like seven times a week.

I’m not sure

So this bedding is nice and doesn’t smell like I walked into a smelly room but the bedding moves around every easy which then is outside of the cage on the floor and all over the cage when they jump out. That’s the only reason why I don’t like it but good on absorbing pee. I wouldn’t buy again but if you don’t mind the messiness then this is for you.

Soft clean bedding

Using this for my rat. It is super soft and absorbent. Clean, low dust. It is packed compressed. Break it up in cage and it continues to expand a little more and soften more as the animals use it.

Small bag but overall good product

Doesn’t leave much dust if any ,soaks up urine great and helps with odor .I also noticed it was easier to clean my rabbits cage .

The best I have found

I use this in my little bun's litter box and scoop three times a day. I used another paper based bedding for eight years until the last three bags I opened had a very offensive odor and I couldn't use them. I have shopped around for another litter and found Oxbow's Pure Comfort to be the best. It is soft and fluffy for my bun's feet and absorbs very well. There is no dust or odor that I have noticed.

Good bedding for small pets

So far, my 6 rats seem quite happy with this shredded paper bedding. It is soft and fairly absorbent, and has not caused any sneezing among my rats, which is of utmost importance. I combine it with the natural hemp bedding, and they work well together.

The Best Bedding!

This bedding is the absolute best we have tried for our hamster. We used CareFresh for a while at the recommendation of others, but it smelled odd on opening the bag and we smelled pee after only a day or so. This stuff controls odor very well and is extremely soft.
