PetKind Venison Tripe Formula Jerky Dog Treats, 6-oz bag

I was so let down by this product! I absolutely love Petkind for their limited ingredient dog food with ethically resourced ingredients, my dogs have always loved their products and I felt great giving it to them. Needless to say when I saw these treats I brought some immediately and my dogs are absolutely obsessed with them! Unfortunately I was so excited to give this new product a try I didn’t read the ingredients as thoroughly as I usually do…. after I had already given my dogs a treat or two to try I reread the ingredients and found that these contain Sea Salt and Garlic! Now salt isn’t inherently bad for dogs but it’s not great for them either, but Garlic is actively toxic to them! I can not believe petkind would include it in their products! So disappointed! People claim that it is beneficial in small amounts as it “prevents fleas”, but the only reason it deters fleas is because it makes your dog weak and anemic! Which fleas are not interested in, and neither am I! Give your dog proper flea control medication prescribed by a veterinarian and skip the toxic ingredients! This is like offering a wet food with grapes as a main ingredient! So upset I had to throw these away, do not buy!
