What are the measurements for just the bowl on the 3 gallon one? My dog is 75 lbs so needs a somewhat large bowl area.

Does the jug screw in or lock into the tray? My cat likes to push over the water jugs when they’re not locked in place.

The jug has a perforated cover piece that twists and locks into the base of the waterer.

The measurements given only give inches and dont indicate height, width and depth. Please tell me which inches are which (H? W? D?)

The X-Small (0.25 gallon capacity) measures 7.3 inches long by 4.8 inches wide and 6.83 inches tall. The Small (0.75 gallon capacity) measures 10.4 inches long by 6.8 inches wide and 9.68 inches tall. The Medium (1.5 gallon capacity) measures 12.9 inches long by 8.6 inches wide and 10.96 inches tall. The Large (3 gallon capacity) measures 16.2 inches long by 10.7 inches wide and 15 inches tall.

This was not designed to filter water. This waterer was made to automatically fill the water reservoir when levels get low to keep your pet hydrated.

Slow water flow and small basin, but would work for one animal.

My dogs drink way too much too often for this to work out for them. The water flow was very slow (I had to shake it a few times to get it to start flowing). It's also a lot smaller than I thought it would be. I am not confident that it was 3 gallons (perhaps I was sent the wrong one?) and it seemed more like 1.5. I also felt the basin was too small for a large dog (much less two). But this would work great for cats I think. It is not a bad product, and I am sure this will be perfect for folks with less/smaller animals. I wouldn't recommend for big dogs that drink a LOT at one time. I wound up donating this to a friend with cats and got a different one that is working out better for us. I'm not knocking this as a bad purchase - it just didn't fit our needs.

Disappointed Difficult to assemble when filled

I had high hopes for making sure my furry friends were hydrated. First this is hard to out a full tank of water back on the dispenser. Second no one will drink

Good for the cheap price

Very flimsy plastic I don't expect it to last long but we only needed something small to keep on the porch as our dogs only okay outside but are mostly indoors.

It could have a more secure snap into the frame. Water only fills up the drinking area about 10%. Very poor water flow. Purchased two. Going in the garbage

But I have two German shepherds that come in from the outside dirt all day long so with indoor animals only I'm sure it would be a lot cleaner..
