How can I get my cats to use it?

To persuade cats to use this product, we recommend the following steps based on the product's "Getting Started" instructions: Set the Fish: Make sure the base is flat and secure. Add Treats: Use small, dry treats or kibble. Start with the largest dispenser holes for easier access. Show & Tell (Demonstrate): Give your cat a demo: spin the fish gently to release a few treats. Let your cat watch and sniff the treats. This introduction helps the cat understand how the toy works and encourages them to engage with it.

My smart cat quickly figured out how to dispense treats, but it seems like the vibrations of the spin gradually close the opening making it a little tighter so treats won't fall out. He would get frustrated and walk away and not go back to it. It didn't quite have the impact that I thought it would. It is super cute to look at, my smart cat figured it out, the less smart cat doesn't ever touch it. But the lack of rigidity with the snack size dial is problematic.

Our cats are having a good time with this, though as brother and sister cats, the brother just watches as his sister gets all the treats. Once in awhile the treats bounce out and he will get one, but mostly he just watches. It seems like there are always 3 treats that won't come out, so you might have to play with the size of the treats to find a good size-but that just adds to the challenge. Overall well built and easy to put together.

My kitties didn't need another treat dispenser, but when I saw this one, I had to buy it! It was easy to assemble and so adorable. The treats are easy to add, and the dials make it easy to select the size of the opening. While one of my kitties just waits for the other one to turn the fish, my 14-year-old kitty uses both paws to spin the fish. The treats drop down into the "fire" so they have to search for the treats. This makes the process even slower. Definitely recommend.

This thing is impossible to put together. The locking mechanism doesn’t work but the instructions only say that you did something wrong if it won’t lock. There’s no further help or clarification. I repeatedly tried putting it together “correctly” until the cheap plastic finally snapped and now this can’t even be used. What a joke.

Smooth lines

I did not get the opportunity to try it. There is a specific size food to use & what my cats eat are in various sizes & shapes that wouldn't go thru. But feeder

The fun nature and ease of use!

My one kitty loves this dispenser! She will work at it for a long time to get the treats out. And they come out at a good rate.. not all at once. It’s fun to watch
