came without parts

There were no screws, weather sealing foam or any of the other parts advertised. The glass is not double paned so in the winter it lets in a lot of cold. The installation

There were no screws, weather sealing foam or any of the other parts advertised. The glass is not double paned so in the winter it lets in a lot of cold. The installation was a nightmare and the petsafe videos pretty much useless. I relied on utube videos which feature people swearing at the door! the adjustable slider at the top leaks air continuously through a half inch wide gap that I have not yet been able to block. After having spent an additional 75 on stuff from the hardware store, I'm going to have to remove the door since it is now freezing in that room.

I ordered a tall large originally for my Borzoi but it was too small and the rise at the bottom made navigation difficult for my old Australian Shepard to use. I replaced it with the XL and it’s perfect for both my borzoi and my old man. Honestly the size difference in door is crazy. The XL is way more comfortable for them. Installation is not a quick and simple thing like they make it seem and I’m waiting to see how it holds up as I only just got the door. But so far way more happy with the XL size for my tall breed dogs

We purchased this new Pet Safe sliding door insert to replace the same Pet Safe door and model purchased in 2019. While it should fit our door like the old one,

We purchased this new Pet Safe sliding door insert to replace the same Pet Safe door and model purchased in 2019. While it should fit our door like the old one, due to some slight engineering modifications is it 1/4 inch too tall and cannot be adjusted without voiding the warranty.

This door was super easy to install. It appears to be of good quality with a sturdy flap that can withstand the frequent ins and outs my dog travels each day.

Required a trip to hardware store for new screws, then functioned properly. Beautiful bronze product, kitties love it. Only 4 stars because of bent screw and screw-packaging snaft. Recommend.

Good door, easy to install

Just out of the package it has a spring on the top and a groove on the bottom. It is installed by wedging it between the top of the door frame and having the groove

Just out of the package it has a spring on the top and a groove on the bottom. It is installed by wedging it between the top of the door frame and having the groove go over the track. They also give hardware to secure it and a weather strip to help with drafts. The small works for my 8 lb small cat, but for a larger cat I would probably go with the medium.

Just had my second door break (the latest after just 3 months. Both times one of the springs at the top broke so the pin won’t secure the top in place, leaving a large gap at the top open to the outdoors. No way to disassemble so I can’t figure a way to replace or repair. Very poor design. I’m looking to replace with a door by another manufacturer that is better designed and made. Don’t bother with this piece of junk.

The actual doggy door itself is nice but the lock and insulation included are terrible. Also despite the advertising you are required to drill several holes so it’s not renter friendly. If you order this I wouldn’t bother trying to use the included lock because if you shake the sliding door the lock will pop open with very little force. Wouldn’t trust it against strong winds or a robber.
