Too Short for my door

I live in an apartment with a sliding glass door. I purchased and installed the PetSafe Glass pet door. However, the companion Security Bar is three inches too

I live in an apartment with a sliding glass door. I purchased and installed the PetSafe Glass pet door. However, the companion Security Bar is three inches too short to span the distance between the partially opened door panel and the wall. My sliding glass door is standard in size - 72 inch opening with one stationary door and one sliding door. But this is not even close to fitting.

Plastic piece broke that held it into place

Very disappointed. Plastics piece broke that holds the bar into place when no into use. Doesn’t seem as secure without that piece. So back to square one.

Perfect fit

Highly recommend. Needed something to secure my sliding glass door from intruders being able to open it after installing an XL Endura pet door. This did the trick

This is perfect for using with a doggy door insert for your sliding glass door. Normal security bars are too long so I was happy to find this.

Broke immediately

The small plastic piece that holds the rod broke off on the second use. If I could do 0 stars I would have.

Weak Support Bracket

The support bracket broke almost immediately upon use and I had to modify it with a metal bolt for it to work. The plastic support piece is weak.
