Exactly what I needed

Have a medium-small terrier mix with a strong prey drive who’s learning to be a good hiking companion and needs regular & firm correction. This collar does it for me. I don’t have to pull back against him or constantly tell him ‘no pulling’. When he pulls it’s uncomfortable and he lets up a little. It doesn’t make him gag or cough so it’s clearly dispersing the pressure well. Better than the easy walk harness, which rubbed in his little armpits too much. Better than the gentle leader which kept riding up to his eyes too much. And better than a front clip on his harness because he’s very short and he would constantly step over the leash and then trip himself. This collar along with treats and positive reinforcement is probably going have him loose leash walking in no time.

Runs big

I purchased this for my 70 pound retriever. I got the large (for 55-110 pounds) and it was massive. Doesn't work amazing because of how big it was. It was, however,

Wrong size.

the size description wa a large for over 55 pounds. My boy is 70 and it was way to big . Even adjusted to the smallest for him. I hope this helps someone else.

Ineffective

This offered no more control than his regular collar. My dog is well behaved, but gets a little strong when he's sniffing. I can't imagine this helping with a truly

This offered no more control than his regular collar. My dog is well behaved, but gets a little strong when he's sniffing. I can't imagine this helping with a truly strong or reactive dog, as it did nothing for my dog who just gets s tiny bit strong.

It’s effective without causing discomfort or pain to my pet

Hopeful it would help

My 6 month old Firld Golden would not tolerate a prong collar he’d simply lay down or stand & shake his head. Used this for the first time today. Walking him is like night & day. He loves people & other dogs & wants to jump & lunge after everyone. This collar has given me control & it doesn’t hurt him.

Bought this for my younger dog.

He's a big boy at 10 months old he weighs about 70 lbs.and is very strong he loves to run and jump and pull me when I'm out walking him ,he's hard to handle on leash

He's a big boy at 10 months old he weighs about 70 lbs.and is very strong he loves to run and jump and pull me when I'm out walking him ,he's hard to handle on leash but with this collar he's learned to not do that because the collar closes up around his neck and the soft points on the collar add some sift pressure on his neck but doesn't hurt him and these soft points can be removed from collar when no longer needed.Love the way it's made.
