Great fit for a messy cat

My aging cat has a tendency to stick her butt up against the edge of the litter box and pee over the edge, so the high sides have worked perfectly. She no longer pees outside the box, and I can clean the sides with a lysol wipe. The size itself and the entry part is comfortable and suitable for her and she can easily turn around and get in the right position. This has eliminated a big problem for me.

Expensive but worth it

Finally my cat no longer pees over the side of her litter box. I had other high sided boxes but they weren’t high enough. I would end up using large potty pads changing

Finally my cat no longer pees over the side of her litter box. I had other high sided boxes but they weren’t high enough. I would end up using large potty pads changing them daily, washing the floor, & doing it all again. The money spent on this stainless steel litter box solved all those problems. Another plus, the dog can look over the top but can’t get into it.

This stainless steel litter box has high sides no more littler flinging, he lives it low entry point I have an older cat, easily cleaned, urine doesn't stick to bottom use enough litter so they get the feeling then just easily scoop away, easy to wipe down with just plain water and a tad of Dawn and it's so much cleaner and hygenic than my old plastic box, better for my cats health and my home, you can put wheels on to help transport and the other end I put the covers on so it's sturdy no rocking at all even when he is in the box digging around! I bought the very large one and he fits perfectly and has room to maneuver, I have a big boy! Greatest litter box I have ever owned in my life

Tall enough

We needed a stainless steel box tall enough for our big boy to contain the spray. It has very sharp edges around the entryway, but it does come with optional padding

We needed a stainless steel box tall enough for our big boy to contain the spray. It has very sharp edges around the entryway, but it does come with optional padding that should definitely be used for safety. I would have preferred the entire thing to have no plastic at all, and that could have been done if they had made the edges the same all the way around, but hopefully the padding won't get smelly. Kitty had no problem transitioning to the new litter box, and the wall and floor have stayed dry (yay!)

For anyone thinking of ordering this item it comes directly from the manufacturer in a plastic bag in a box no other packaging . The outer box was badly damaged big hole in the side. Item chipped needed repair since it’s metal that’s why it received only 3 stars.

I wanted to replace my plastic litterboxes with stainless steel because I heard the material doesn't retain smells, is easily cleanable, and durable. I needed a high-sided box because my cat tends to urinate over the sides accidentally. This one was a little pricier but fully stainless steel, whereas some other boxes had the sides that were plastic. The bonus is that wheels and feet were included in the box so that I could customize the bottom. This was nice because it kept the box off the floor.
