Has this food been proven to improve loose stool in cats with sensitive stomachs?

This recipe is formulated to help promote your kitty's healthy skin and coat, while the highly-digestible formula is gentle on sensitive stomachs. It is not intended to treat loose stools.

What animal is the liver from?

Please know that is derived from the liver of cattle, swine or poultry. When product has beef in the formula or product description, the liver is beef liver. When beef is not in the formula or product descriptor, the liver is pork or poultry liver as in this case.

She loved the first two cans. I give her a 3 ounce can in the morning. But then, after that, she started getting loose stools and then looser and then looser and then all day Thanksgiving she was running to the bathroom every 10 minutes. It was just awful. I took all her food away and then read that I shouldn’t be starving her so I went back to her old food and she ate it happily and the diarrhea stopped and she had a normal poop today. Maybe I just got a bad batch because I always purchase at least one can of a new food as a tester before I buy a whole case and this food is specifically meant for sensitive stomach and was recommended by my vet, so I was surprised and sad for her.

Our cat Noah was recently diagnosed with inflammatory bowel disease so we have to use a sensitive food for him now because he vomits a lot. We switched to Purina It’s sensitive skin and stomach and he vomits much less now. Although he’s a picky eater, he likes it and we hope it continues to work for him and give him some relief.

Tigger likes it... his fellow cat, Bug, craves it every morning, pesters his Mom (me) to get up and open a can for his breakfast. Tigger is more polite and waits patiently, but likes the food just as well. And, it doesn't make Tigger puke, like other food does. Sensitive tummy, has poor Tiggie..

Picked a non-chicken meat due to suspected chicken-allergies or sensitivity. It looks fine. Nothing offensive about it. Each cat (2 of them) initially took a few bites and left the rest. Leaving it out for them did nothing but dry out the food to be tossed out later. This is too expensive to be this iffy in it being accepted and eaten.

Helped with digestive issues

Both of my cats have stopped throwing up constantly since feeding them just this food. I only do duck and arctic char. They like both equally. We’re happy!

I’m not sure if the food had expired but my cats have been on the same food for more than over a year and they refuse to eat this new case at all. We’ve tried the same brand and kind at a different store and they seemed to be fine with it. It’s a shame we have to throw out a 24 case of food that’s already so expensive:(

All three cats give Duck by Pruina a “paws up”

All of our cats love this. It’s easy on the sensitive stomachs and they really like it, especially the gravy. Was wondering if I could get a jar of that :)
