Kittens generally nibble solid foods at 3 - 4 weeks of age. Keep moistened Pro Plan available to these kittens at all times. After weaning, at 6 - 8 weeks of age, kittens will normally eat dry or moistened food at will. If water is added, use no more than 1 part warm (not hot) liquid to 3 parts Pro Plan, changing frequently to ensure freshness. As kittens near Adulthood, their calorie needs may decrease. Continue to adjust the amount you feed to maintain your kitten in ideal body condition and avoid excess weight gain.
Feeding for Reproduction: Pro Plan provides all the nutrients needed during reproduction. It is not necessary to add supplemental vitamins or minerals. Food consumption can vary during gestation. Feed the amount needed to maintain ideal body condition in the pregnant female. After the kittens are born, feed the nursing female all she wants to eat. Food intake can be 2 - 3 times greater by the fourth week of lactation as it was prior to when the female was bred. Food intake can be increased by feeding Pro Plan moistened with water and feeding twice daily.
For your pet's health, see your veterinarian regularly. Provide adequate fresh water in a clean container daily. Store in a cool dry place.
'Making the Switch to Pro Plan: Although you'll be anxious to see the difference Pro Plan can make in your kitten, please allow 7 - 10 days to ease the transition from your kitten's current food. Each day, simply feed a little less of the previous food and a little more Pro Plan until you're feeding Pro Plan exclusively. This gradual transition will help avoid dietary upsets.

Yumm Delicious
By Coach on Dec 13, 2020
I have tried a few different brands and my two new kittens will not eat it. they love this one and are eating like little piggies. Will be sticking with this one until they are old enough to go on regular Cat food. This was also approved by our vets.

2kittenstry
By CisNBear on Dec 26, 2020
I wanted a grain free food for 2 kittens that were just weaned from being bottle feed since they were abandoned by their mother at 10 days old, they loved this food and its small enough bites that. The older cats also liked it.

Made my cat throw up
By Mattie on Sep 12, 2020
I fed this food to my cat for months and months and then it suddenly started making her throw up. Because she had been eating it for so long it took me some time (and a pricey vet bill) to figure out it was the food. Since I switched to a new brand a month ago she hasn’t thrown up once. I wonder if they changed something in the mix.

The only dry food option without fillers/by products and too many veggies
By Para on Sep 11, 2020
I only use this as an AM and PM snack in addition to wet food which is what they usually have as their main meal. It seemed to be the only kitten formula that has the most nutritious ingredients. They love it!

Good chance to figure out my cat's appetite.
By JADA on Sep 13, 2020
I changed kitten food every month and my kitten likes everything. I guess Egg is not his thing.... Only food that he did not like! It was a good chance to know his preference.

An okay dry food
By lividykes on Jan 4, 2020
I just decided to try this out because I was using grain free blue buffalo or something comparable and it was very expensive but this actually made my kittens tummies upset but it could have been from just the change but I moved on to a different brand to see if I like it better.
