My dog SPIT IT OUT

Wow... My dog eats ANYTHING and she was so disgusted by this food that when we tossed some in the air for her to catch (a normal game we play with food and treats)

Wow... My dog eats ANYTHING and she was so disgusted by this food that when we tossed some in the air for her to catch (a normal game we play with food and treats) she literally spit it out. She wouldn't touch the bowl, her toys with it in there or anything else. It was like it was rancid or something. Chewy customer service was NO help. We had already ripped apart the bag and box and they wanted it sent back for a refund (since when)!?!? We live in a very rural area so it is 45 minute each way to UPS or FedEx locations. I also don't have a printer. She finally said she could send me a pre-paid box and I could do a UPS pickup instead, but it would be 14 business days to recieve the box (that is three freaking weeks), then shipping it back, 1-5 days for processing in the warehouse then 3-5 more days for my bank. So we are looking at 5 weeks for a refund. Ridiculous. I have been buying from Chewy for nearly 10 years every 3 months and this is unheard of.

High quality and dogs love it

I give this to my standard American and XL bully. They both have sensitive stomachs and skin. This is the only brand of food that they actually enjoy eating and

This is the only brand of food that they actually enjoy eating and doesn’t upset their bellies or give them a skin reaction. Only wish is it would be a little more affordable as my dogs go through the biggest bag they offer a month.

Solidified.

I have 4 dogs. Foxy is elderly and has been having accidents. She recently started pooping in the house and when she goes, she leaves a trail of very loose poop

I have 4 dogs. Foxy is elderly and has been having accidents. She recently started pooping in the house and when she goes, she leaves a trail of very loose poop EVERYWHERE. Foxy had skin issues already when I got her over a year ago, so, after antibiotics, I had her bathed every other week for months on end. Along with this, it took some time to find food she would eat. My other dogs were ok with anything. Considering the new pooping issue, I finally looked around and found this. Sensitive “skin” is a bonus. While I’m not sure if the food has helped in that regard, I do know Foxy now has solid poop. She’s been making it outside with it most of the time and when she does not, it’s now as simple as picking it up with a paper towel to clean up. I have switched all 4 dogs to this diet for Foxy’s sake. While I’m not sure if my other dogs will be lacking anything from this new diet, I know it’s been great for Foxy and plan to ask my vet their opinion.

My daughter’s dog had gotten so she wasn’t eating the Purina chicken flavor adult dog food. She is over 2 years of age now. So I changed to the Purina Pro Plan Turkey

My daughter’s dog had gotten so she wasn’t eating the Purina chicken flavor adult dog food. She is over 2 years of age now. So I changed to the Purina Pro Plan Turkey flavor for sensitive skin and stomach’s ( she seemed to have had previous issues with sensitivity) and she loved it. She is doing so well with this food.

BE BETTER, Purina!

Bag came with small holes in it, which I was willing to forgive since even human food manufacturers will often puncture their packaging intentionally for safety reasons. Then I gave it a sniff and was immediately hit with the stench of stale fish, which was odd considering the flavor is turkey. The third strike came in the form of a tiny, blackened, and totally NOT SUPPOSED TO BE THERE piece of kibble sitting there like, "You're still gonna feed me to your dog?!" It's kind of appalling that dog food QA is still quite terrible in this day and age -- and Purina is actually one of the few brands that meet both AAFCO & WSAVA guidelines!

Diarrhea!

I bought this food back in August and my girl has been eating on it for a couple months now. I always keep her food in a sealed, closed, airtight container kept

I bought this food back in August and my girl has been eating on it for a couple months now. I always keep her food in a sealed, closed, airtight container kept in the original bag. I noticed she started getting diarrhea on this food. 80 dollars wasted on this bag of food because the minute I switched her food, no more diarrhea. My dog is a boxer mix and does have a sensitive stomach so I figured changing her cheaper food to a more expensive food would help, but I would stay away from this food!

TUX Favorite

My fur king Tuxedo has been on Purina pro plan for a few years now. This is a hard kibble I use in addition to cooking for him. I add in a cup full of hard food

My fur king Tuxedo has been on Purina pro plan for a few years now. This is a hard kibble I use in addition to cooking for him. I add in a cup full of hard food to his food. 10 of 10 I recommend. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because tux is a smaller Adult dog. I wish Purina carried the ADULT smaller Kibble in ALL flavor (Sensitive Stomach)

I have been trying to buy my animals better food and Purina Pro Plan is supposed to be the best store brand. I used to feed my girl Taste of the Wild but the price per pound for the small bag vs. the larger size was too much and I just couldn't justify it, but the larger bag would go bad before she could eat it all. Then I started looking around and liked what I saw about Pro Plan. I purchased the Lamb flavor first and she liked it but I didn't like the smell, so now I give her this turkey with oatmeal and we are both happy.
