Why is dried yeast in this food? Can this contribute to yeast infections?
Answer by ChewyApr 23, 2022
The dried yeast is non-fermentative and made up of at least 40% protein. As a high-quality source of protein, it helps build and maintain your pet’s strong muscles. It’s also a rich source of B vitamins to help support your pet’s overall health. It will not cause yeast infections.

Expensive and why?

Dog food that's healthy for our dogs should not break the bank! It's made out of processed pieces that humans don't eat and crushed down into little pieces of burnt chunks. Why would companies charge soooo much? Also why not make one dog food that assists with skin, weight, gut health and growth? Dog food companies are really getting out of hand!

Vet recommended this

Vet seen our not so miniature schnauzer. She looked at her ears and said she has food allergies, she needs nothing but salmon and rice dog food. So for 3 months her scratching has stopped, ear shaking and all the dry flaky skin gone. This food has been a blessing to us for our schnauzer. She is a normal dog without all the issues before. We have tried all the other grain free food except this one, I'm so glad that the vet seen her and knew right from the get go what the problem was, but I took her in because they both had coccida so a 2 for deal. We got her coccida medicine and found out her allergy problem. So if your dogs ears are black and itching alot try this food.

Works well for us

Our boy likes this food and it works well for his tummy. We adopted him a few months ago and he was not in good shape...he had not been taken care of and had a number of medical problems...has heartworms and we are in the process of treating that...he still has some struggles, but is in much better shape and the food has to be helping.

Golden loves this

Switched my 2 year old golden from Salmon sensitive because she lost interest and she loves the turkey. She hasn’t had any issues with the transition as others have reported so those issues must be dog specific.

Great products

My pup has had a lot of stomach issues since she was a pup. She just turned one and ready to change to adult food. We switched to this one and have had no issues. She enjoys eating it and doesn’t have loose stool with this food. Great food for pups with sensitive belly’s.

Not a Fav

Unfortunately, our dog did not like this food, at all! She refused to eat and we had to go back to our other ( more expensive) food.

Seems to love it

My boxer seems to have sensitive stomach so I have ordered this to try. He seems to love it and we also feed canned. But he eats this up quickly when given. I will stick this for now.

No itchies!

Finally found a food my guy likes, that doesn't upset his stomach or make him itchy! He actually seems excited for meals.

No Issues With This Kibble

My black labrador mix loves this food. She would constantly get conjunctivitis and I could not figure out the reason for her eye infections. Since switching to this food, she has had no more eye trouble. This has a good ingredient list and my dog gobbles it up! A+ food.
