We purchased these chews and four other urinary health treats available from Chewy and mixed them for our 9-year-old, Hawaii-rescue, FIV-positive, a tabby who needed an operation two years ago for a urinary blockage. He loves them. We plan to place all of them on recurring delivery as soon as I have a projection on how long they will last.
I’m trying to find a better treat for Buddy as he was just diagnosed as diabetic. I bought these treats as a bundle with the purina pro plan prescription dry food. He actually LOVES the flavor but because they are so big/round, he has a really hard time eating them. They continually drop out of his mouth. They are like the size of kibble for a small to medium size dog. If they weren’t so big and hard to eat, they would be great!
I found a lot of veterinarian and certified supported websites that recommended: Purina Pro Plan Veterinary Diets Crunchy Bites Crunchy Cat Treats, 1.8-oz bag for cats; however, my cat will not and does not eat the treats no matter how I prepare them, cut them, or serve them with other food or treats. Maybe you feline friend will do better, and be less picky compared to mine!
My four (4) cats LOVE these treats. No problem chewing them. Cats weight - pounds: 23, 16, 13, 11. All neutered males. What I like best is how they say “best treats ever” nom nom nom, “give me more” nom nom nom, “love these treats” nom nom nom. The simultaneous sounds of them chewing, crunching, and purring is music to my ears. It tells me all four kitties will get along better after finishing the 3-4 treats I give. This improved behavior is worth it even though it only lasts about a minute.
Great products and service once again! Surpassing my best expectations! Thank you.
I have 2 cats, 1 that’s normal weight and the other is overweight and both love these treats! I got them for my overweight cat who we’ve put on diet food and wanted him to still be able to enjoy a healthy treat :) Just an FYI, they seem to be pretty crunchy sounding and are little round balls (almost looks like captain crunch cereal lol) when they eat them, in case anyone looking to buy these needs a softer consistency type treat for their cat, but mine are enjoying them.
This food is so high-calorie that he eats much less than he did of his previous, over-the-counter food. My veterinarian ordered this.
My cats are even dicky about their treats and they love these. I just wish they were cheaper.
My cat is on a special urinary RX diet. These are the only RX treats he will eat.
My five year old female cat loves Treat Time and was a big fan of Temptations. Well, Goose is now diabetic. She’s taken to her diet well and likes this whole line. I give her five at a time.
