The small doors on these cat doors don’t swing open. Instead, they can be held open using sliding locks or door stoppers, depending on the model. Because the designs are flap-free, cats can move in and out easily. If you’d like to close the door off, you can simply lock it manually.

It says it has 2 doorframes does that mean that you can install cat frame in 2 different doors?

The cat doors come with two frames, but they are not meant for use on two separate doors. The frames are designed to be installed on both sides of a single solid or hollow-core interior door, providing stability and support.

I nicknamed my house the Hobbit house

So when I was looking for a kitty door, this one stood out! Its the cutest little door and it locks so that we can still keep them in the room when contractors are

So when I was looking for a kitty door, this one stood out! Its the cutest little door and it locks so that we can still keep them in the room when contractors are over. It took my kittens all of 5 seconds to figure out they could go in and out as they please. They sleep with us as night, but get up to play. It helps us keep the heat in the room and avoid nightly scratching and meowing to get out.

We like the lock mechanism on the door and the aesthetic itself. I bought the white one so we can paint it to match the walls. The details on it are charming. When we installed we used the screws in the bag instead of dry wall screws for the wall. So make sure you have those for proper installation if you’re adding to a wall instead of the door.

This door is super cute and very practical! I am not a handy person at all, so I had to borrow someone's saws, but I got it all done in an afternoon. My friend loaned me a half-moon electric saw thing, which worked great to carve out the outline, then I used a saws-all to finish the job. Badda-bing, badda-boom. You can see one of my kitties lurking in the picture if you look carefully.

I’m going to be dog sitting soon and need a way to keep the cat’s food and litter boxes away from the dog. I’d used a baby/pet gate in the past, but it was a hassle

I’m going to be dog sitting soon and need a way to keep the cat’s food and litter boxes away from the dog. I’d used a baby/pet gate in the past, but it was a hassle. The cats had this figured out in no time and the fact that it’s super cute is just an added bonus. I’m not all that handy and I had no problem installing this.

Super cute, works great!

I truly appreciate this new addition to my bedroom door so my cat can come in and out at night for food and snuggles, but I don't have to leave my door cracked open

I truly appreciate this new addition to my bedroom door so my cat can come in and out at night for food and snuggles, but I don't have to leave my door cracked open. It's very cute, which makes it even better! And while I always leave the little door open, I love that if I have someone over and staying in my room, they can choose to close and lock the door in case they don't want my cat to come in overnight.
