These are recommended feeding guidelines that should be adjusted as needed to obtain optimum weight. Provide a bowl of fresh, clean water for your cat at all times. Close package tightly between feedings or store in an airtight container to keep product fresh. Regular veterinary visits are recommended to ensure your cat's good health. Use a standard 8 oz dry measuring cup for determining food amounts. Adult cats with normal activity may be fed the recommended amount in 2 meals per daily.
Because Rachael Ray Nutrish may offer different ingredients than your pet is used to, it may take up to ten days for your pet's system to become acclimated to Nutrish. Slowly mix with his other food over a five- to ten-day period until your pet is solely eating Nutrish.
Day 1-3: 25% Nutrish Food mixed with 75% Old Food
Day 4-6: 50% Nutrish Food mixed with 50% Old Food
Day 7-9: 75% Nutrish Food mixed with 25% Old Food
Day 10: 100% Nutrish Food
Rachel Ray Nutrish is a great product. I have 3 cats ranging in age from 1-16 years old. My elderly female is a notorious puker. This cat food has eliminated that issue. I free feed. All three of my cats are a healthy weight and if given a choice with other dry foods choose Rachel Ray Nutrish every time.
After switching to this cat food, there is a noticeable improvement in the health of our 3 cats! Our black cat used to have mildly rough fur and had some spots of balding around her hind area, but after a couple months of eating only the Rachael Ray Nutrish cat food, her fur is soft, silky smooth, and has no balding patches! She in particular seems much healthier and happier after the switch. She is the oldest of the 3 cats.
I keep hearing that veterinarians do not recommend this product. They say things like "Rachel Ray jumped on the pet food bandwagon...." They have frequent reports of cats throwing this stuff up... ima stop using it cuz my experience with it has been disappointing AND my cat pukes it up, so. No thanks, Rachel!
We went on years trying to figure out what was making my cat scratch till he bleed. Thought it was fleas no, season allergies or food. It was the food. I actually saw a review on cat skin allergies and tried Rachel ray food again. He was healed up within a week and back to him normal self. Plus all my cats like it and easy on their tummy’s.
At first this was ok, I mixed it with other food that I normally fed my cat, I started adding more of this and less of his original food, he started having very loose and very smelly poops, sometimes not making it to the litter box, and he was trying to eat around this food, did a Google search and found a lot of complaints like this and worse, including bloody stools. Back to the meow mix that he loves
My cats absolutely love this. Natural food with natural ingredients and they absolutely love it. They clearly prefer this over any dry food . This is going to stay in the pantry for them. I already ordered more
My cat has a wet and dry food diet but it’s been hard trying to find dry food he prefers over wet food but he loves this kibble! It’s it’s great that it doesn’t contain any corn ingredient. 10/10
My 2 cats loved the indoor formula. One had an intolerance to an ingredient I think. He would be in his litter box many times a day. Both of them had skin and fur issues from it. I switched them back to their old food and all is back to normal.
so i have one cat that has a very sensitive stomach where the cat food we where using mad him throw up all the time and he was losing a lot of weight so when we went to the vet he only weighted about 6 pounds and he was 2 at that point so they wanted me to try a cat food that had smaller pieces and he love this food. also ever sense i did hes finally at a healthy weight.i will always buy this food for him. and its a really good price.
This product is horrible quality and consistently made my cat, and my moms two cats vomit almost daily. None of them have sensitive stomachs and as soon as we switched to Iams they stopped their daily vomiting.
