Like so many other kitties my cat refused the potassium gel she was given in the ER and we were struggling so hard to administer it at home to the point where her potassium levels weren’t improving. This literally saved her life. It’s the only way weve been able to increase her potassium after a major hypokalemic episode. I mix it with a churu treat and voila!

Easy to Mix!

Our cat was struggling with the gel version of potassium but this powder mixes in so easily to his food and he doesn’t even notice the difference!

My picky girl is in early stage renal insufficiency so needs potassium supplement. I first tried Renal K gel. No dice. Within a day she developed loose bowels and stopped eating. So on to the next option. This works great. I dilute her eighth teaspoon in a spoon of water and mix it into Weruva Wx, which has a lot of liquid. She loves the Wx and ate it right up as usual, so she didn’t detect the potassium at all. So relieved. Note that she is tiny and is only prescribed 1/4 teaspoon every other day. Hopefully if I must increase the dose she will still take it.

So far so good!

My 20 year old kitty needed this supplement and so far she’s been taking it mixed in her food. I’ll know more about her levels during her 6 month checkup

My senior cat has low potassium and the only thing my vet had on hand was that gooey paste that I knew my cat would not eat. I ordered this and didn’t realize it was flavored. I fully expected him not to eat this either. But I mix it in to a Churu and he eats it right up. Very happy!

Lily's test results showed normal potassium levels after 2 months of use. We put the recommended dose in a small measuring spoon, squeezed in some lickable treat, and mixed it well. Then we added her tiny thyroid pill and let her lick it off a finger a little at a time. This was done twice a day.
