This litterbox fixed our problem
Yes, this is a VERY large litterbox. But it is just what our cat needed. She is a 16 year old cat who was consistently peeing over the edge of her large (as large as we could find up until this one) litter box. I finally realized 2 things. She is a big cat and likes to turn around and around before she pees and the box didn't have enough room for her to do that. And she has arthritis and can't really squat so pee would go right over the side. So, big cat, arthritis. This box solved both.
I love this litter box . The high sides are great for keeping my boys from kicking litter out. The anti tracking step does not eliminate all tracking but it does significantly cut down on a lot of it. I am going to order another one :) I just wish there was a blue or gray one for my boys.
Be Wary!
This does the job for keeping litter in the box! That said, in all my years of having cats, this one is the worst by far to clean! The clumps cling to the box as if they were glued to it! I’m giving it 2 stars because the high sides do contain the litter. I would not buy another one!

Disappointed the little step doesn’t stop my cat from tracking litter but it does help keep it from being thrown over the sides. It’s hard to clean especially the poop!

This works well for my needs. Had a fancy modern box before with a hanging tarp liner that my older cat always managed to pee behind.
Do not recommend.
In theory, it seemed like a good idea. My cat stands on the edge of the open end, then urinates on the floor.
