Please can you tell me how many kibble ( royal canin hepatic ) make 1 gm of protein, i calculated it as 6 or 7 but need to be correct. thanks
Answer by ChewyJan 21, 2021
There are 86 grams of food per cup and 13 grams of protein within that amount. This is not an exact as we do not have specific calculations to accurately break it down to one kibble due to that is not the way it is formulated to be fed.

What is the copper content mg/kg please
Answer by ChewyMar 23, 2021
This recipe has a maximum copper content of 6 milligrams per kilogram.

What is percentage of phosphorous, sodium, carbohydrates and calcium? What are the proteins—animal or vegetable? What is the protein percentage of which animal(s) and/or which vegetables?
Answer by ChewyJul 18, 2019
The phosphorus content is 0.52%, the sodium is 0.21% and the calcium is 0.75%. The protein source is hydrolyzed soy. Royal Canin does not report the percentage of each individual protein as that is proprietary information and part of recipe. The total protein content is approximately 16%.

How much zinc does hepatic contain?
Answer by ChewyJul 09, 2019
This formula has a zinc content of approximately 245 milligrams per kilogram.

Bless you BIG TIME

I have a very fragile little boy (pomeranian) with multiple health problems due to amoral and ethicless breeding practices. His diet has had to be changed multiple times on an emergency basis. Y'all have responded to these demanding changes so wonderfully by getting his new diet to him incredibly fast. Without the necessary changes, he would have died. Literally. Thank you for saving my baby by ensuring he had what he needed when he needed it!!!! P.S. He is also my service dog, and has gotten me 6.5 years past MY life expectancy. I owe him my life. Thank you for helping me save his.

Helps my dogs so much

This food has been a lifesaver for my pets. My oldest is 15 and he still runs and plays. But really the review is about the amazing customer service I get from Chewy

Chewy's help getting this

I've had to change dry food due to my dog's medical needs. Chewy customer service was so helpful, even when Royal Canin was unavailable as I needed it.

Dry Dog Food

My Hershey loves Royal Canon, I was almost out of his food and Chewy came in for me in getting it to me in time before we actually ran out.

price increase

My dog NEEDS this product. But with a 51 PERCENT price increase in 5 years? $25 increase in ONE YEAR??? How do you expect customers to keep up with such high increases. Really disappointed in Chewy

Copper storage problems..ugh.

My 5 yr. old Labrador was diagnosed with liver copper storage problems in August. He was immediately put on both wet and dry hepatic care food. He is also on zinc pills for the next four months to help draw out the copper. He goes for his post diagnosis blood test in a week. Crossing g my fingers that this low copper food helps lower his copper. If you have labs, dalmatio s and a few other breeds PLEASE don't feed them pork, organ meats, lamb, or dark meat chicken or turkey. Peanut butter is also LOADED with copper.

Always on Backorder

this product always seems to be on backorder! They must have a really really bad supply chain. They cannot be counted on as a reliable supplier for your pet needs.

Bandit loves the food

He loves it but I find it expensive and hard to get a large bag.

Good ingredients

Pleased with the ingredients for my labradoodle's compromised liver, but she is not loving it. Labradoodles are picky eaters but we are getting her to eat it.
