Moose was recently diagnosed with diabetes. It's been a challenge, to say the least, trying to figure out he can and can't eat, trying to get him to gain weight back, making sure what he is eating doesn't negatively affect his condition. The vet recommended this for him and he loves it. And the process to get it approved from my vet through Chewy was incredibly easy.
We needed to begin a prescription diet for our dog who was recently diagnosed as diabetic. It's a bit expensive but we are xtrememly happy that she is eating this new food. Hoping it will help in some way her diabeties
My little diabetic girl loves this food she thinks it's a treat for her but really it helps balance her blood sugar.
My Shitzu wouldn’t eat this when we first purchased. The vet recommended to mix a tablespoon of wet food with it. It definitely worked he eats well now.
My pup was recently diagnosed with diabetes and my vet recommended this food. He is a very picky eater and I have thrown out a lot of different dog foods. He is eating this well for me most of the time although not quite as much as the recommended serving size. He never was a morning eater and I have to get food in him for his insulin shot. I am happy he is eating this for me.
This food has really helped get our yorkies glucose numbers down. And the best part is he really loves the taste of it.
My vet put Fargo on this and then I switched to another brand that was SUPPOSED to be low glycemic. His sugar readings DOUBLED to almost 500. Went back to this and he's back to normal. He was diagnosed 5 1/2 years ago when he was 8. We are fortunate that he's retained his eyesight since 85% of dogs diagnosed with diabetes go blind within 6-18 months of diagnosis.
Princess likes it so far, and I'm happy about that
My older diabetic Min Pin is a picky eater and likes variety. Its great to have options with Diabetic friendly foods that he actually likes. It keeps it healthy and I don't have to spend as much time chasing him around or waiting for him to eat so I can give him his insulin in the morning.
My 12 year old Maltese has diabetes and does not like the food
